Everything, Courteous staff, extremely welcoming, fantastic location, from Doorman to GM, every one is so helpful. Not even a single complaint.
the location of this hotel is great. we were very lucky, we got upgrade to Junior suit. great view from room and the bed and pillows were so comfortable.
The building itself not a beautiful one, but inside the hotel is nice. The wifi too expensive €5 hourly. no swimming pool. The sauna , steam room and Jacuzzi section is too small for a 5 star hotel. At 10 am, someone knock our door but without we respond, he opened the door, we were not happy as we are two girls still sleeping in bed, a male open door to our room. This shouldn't happen, told the reception , two girl there one made excuse said just cleaning lady, the other i think her name is kitti, she is good, apologies to us straight away.
no free wifi in the room
HOTEL IS IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION
STAFF IS RUDE AND ROOM SERVICE IS VERY BAD. WAITED 2 HOURS FOR BREAKFAST!!! FOR A PULLMAN HOTEL - THEY ARE NOT UP TO STANDARD WITH SERVICE
Changing breakfast from executive lounge to restaurant, chatting staff in the restaurant about guests.
The rooms, bathrooms, beds and all very nice. There is no doubt about that.
Considering the price they charge per night you’d wonder how they have the nerve to charge €15 a day for access to the internet in your room? The receptionist that checked us in and out wasn’t particularly friendly and or helpful. The club sandwich I ordered was an absolute disgrace for price they charged. It was tiny, and the bread wasn’t fresh. Wouldn’t stay there again!
location; room comfort; view from room; decent room size.
expensive wifi; rude staff;
Best was location. Great view to Donau and castle hill as well as everything within walking distance.
The hotel staff was quick with informing us about the dinner when we asked were to go for New Year's Eve. The restaurant staff (both service and kitchen) were very friendly and service minded. No complaints regarding the staff at all, good service at all times!
The restaurant did not in any sense give the feeling of a glamorous place to celebrate New Year's Eve, it did not at all meet our expectations. It was a very simple and kind of childish set up and decoration. Not the more fancy and stylish decor one expects for a gala dinner. The starter was either a bit bland or too salty. The white wine for the main were no hit either, too dry, definitely not my personal taste. Same for the red recommended for the main, it would most probably have been much better if it had been aired a few hours before the dinner. The meat as main course did not impress, not the dish itself neither it's appearance. The best part of the dessert was the mojito sorbet - amazing! Then I just have to say that serving water from plastic bottles during a gala dinner is not to anyone's liking - it looks cheap and unprofessional, no matter how convenient it might be for the staff and the restaurant. Further, it would be good to state in the program that guest do not need to show up at 19:00, we rushed to get ready and had a very boring dinner. There were no party atmosphere, nothing happening! We got utterly bored, skipped the cheese and decided we would have more fun somewhere else..! Would we have known that we could have arrived later, things would most probably have been much different! I do want to point out that we attended the New Year's Day brunch and where very pleased! Good and service was great! The mini dishes to order was a great idea! That's something to consider as a New Year's Eve dinner! The food at the brunch was better than the gala dinner according to us!
The location is great.
The concierges were not really helpfull. Only answers to standard requirements. No specials.
Friendly staff excelent location
Poor wifi ,way too soft bed mattress, unregistered extra-over-expensive scamming taxis working with the hotel concierge.
Great location. Good restaurant. Well organised. Friendly staff
Wifi is not free
The view from the room is breathtaking, all rooms have this view to the river Danube, the Elizabeth and the Chain bridge and the Royal Castle, room is very comfortable, location excellent, just a few steps from Vacy Street, staff very polite.
internet access is free of charge only in the lobby, not in the rooms.
Our room wasn't clean upon arrival. No bath ropes or slippers. Expensive wifi. Expensive parking.
Only thing was couldn't get the room cool enough for good sleep.
Excellent hotel and best breakfast! The bed is too die for!
I really wish there was a blow dryer but that's minor.
View over the river, location, parking option. Easy to find. decent resturants
For a hotel of this stature and the price we are paying I would expect free Wi-Fi, The hotel charges for everything extra which one would expect to have as part of the hotel rate.
It was ok.
Hotel was great with perfect river-view, great embankment to walk and with restaurants around. Room was only with shower (still was ok for us). Hotel has parking (but paid extra).
Paid Wi-Fi in rooms (15 eur a day or 5/h), non-working Wi-Fi in lobby (at least when I tried), TV is paid too.
at first, served the room non equipped bathtub, but change request was accepted
Superb location on the river , near the tram stop for access to most of the sights . Most rooms have a view of the castle which is marvellous by day and night . Close to the main pedestrian street and many restaurants.
Building is very ugly from the outside and not in keeping with the surrounds .
Executive Lounge - food, staff, facilities Room - comfortable bed, towels, good shower, bathroom in general, safe, closets, drawer space
Need luggage folding luggage racks second chair with reading lamp additional plugs for electronic devices more hooks in bathroom...to hang toilet kits
Location was excellent. The views were spectacular. Being able to use the Executive Lounge was well worth the expense (we never bothered to go to the main dining room of the hotel) and the staff there was excellent.
Riverview room was great
room was too dusty
View of the Parliment
Meals were too high and the internet didn't work
