Score from 405 reviews Very good
Rooms are on the fourth floor, so that can be a problem if you have huge luggage.
Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, good wi fi signal. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Ok breakfast. The best thing is location, hostel is just a few minutes from Oktogon metro station, and very close to the centar. Good choice for staying couple of nights in Budapest.
The informations provided are FALSE! The name of the hotel is wrong. There is NOT private bathroom. It is NOT appartment, it is a HOSTEL. There are rooms ONLY upstairs so you need to climb more than 100 stairs to reach the room. Awful WiFi. I wouldn't recommend it!
Old building. Very quiet and very darkness.
Slightly more expensive than other guesthouses, but worth it compared to nightmare at Ciao Budapest (don't stay there!)
Staff were super nice and friendly Set up like apartments so lots of common space each with kitchen Very spacious rooms and no bunk beds
The hostel is located on the 4th floor, so that is not so comfortable if we are travelling with big bags, so the location on the 4th floor of the building is not so comfortable.
I liked the most the price of it and the facilities which is included in it.
We booked the "mini-apartment" at the hostel but actually they are two different building, thus I can judge the hostel but only our experience with the apartment that was really great! We had all we needed, plot, plates, microwaves...etc, the room was pretty nice and even the bathroom wasn t that big was really confortable! The place was really close to the metro line and there were several mini market all around the area. We came back home with a really nice experience!
Nice staff and clean rooms but no escalator for going up to Floor3
- not possible to pay by card, although Booking stated this is possible - description of room shows TV, this was no present
- location - clean room - English speaking staff
Everything was great. I advise all of you to stay in this place, because our room was more than just good. Me and my friend are totally satisfied
So polite personal, nice decoration and very, very clean hostel.
I know it's not the hostel's fault, yet uncivilised and ill-mannered neighbours gave us some trouble. Apart from this, soundproofing is poor (floor with very noisy wooden boards also in the corridor) and - but we could expect this as cities like [our hometown] Trieste, Vienna, Budapest etc have all this kind of history and architecture - very tall ceiling makes it not so easy to warm the room plus bathroom with only one small radiator in a corner. It was actually much warmer in the corridor (which is smaller than the room) than inside, as out there a larger set of radiators was operating. I guess that also in this case, visiting with weather above -5°C would make everything easier ;-)
Great position btw Oktogon & West (Nyugati) station plus all-day trams along the Grand Boulevard (Teréz körút in this part).
The place is generally clean, but the shower curtain asks for replacement.
This hostel/pension is located on the topfloor in an grand but unrenovated 19th century builiding right on one of the boulevards of Budapest.Beds and beddings were rather cheap and worn but the very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere create a comfortable cosy envirement for very little money. A rudimentary breakfast is served, but it certailnly needs additions from one of the shops down below. I liked it my children liked it, nothing to complain.
nice old building and staff
Breakfast was not as good as it was told.
In the city center, separate apartment, everything you need for a couple of nights or more.‚ Very cozy. The staff is very kind with good English skills.
the kitchen was not very clean as some times when there was some dished in the sank there was some flying insects flying around. So I think it would be better if the dishes was cleaned up continuously.
Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Too quite at night.
the bed line is fair.
good location. near metro and tram station. easy to get to all attractions. the staff is very nice and friendly.
low price, great team, location
We liked the host and personal in general
very basic rooms could be cleaner they charge additional fee for leaving luggage after check out
great location: close to tram, subway central friendly staff
just 2 showers and 2 wc (one of that in the shower cabinet) for 12 people, no lockers in the room
very friendly staff, extremely good position, easy but sufficient breakfast
Very uncomfortable bed. Basically a ply-wood. Needs to be replaced urgently.
Large and spacious rooms. Great location near everything. Fantastic staff. Very interesting century-old building.
Couldn't find it
I couldn't find the guesthouse despite walking the length of the street on both sides in a tHunderstorm. Nobody had heard of it, even street traders and other hotels. I booked myself I into the radisson!
Rooms need some air-conditioner because of the hot summer.
The stuff was so guestful and kind. The room was big enough. The place was secured well. The beds were comfortable.
A long climb through flight of stairs to the room
