Hotel Central Basilica

Hotellet ligger dejlig centralt. Der var ikke langt til flere af metrostationerne. Så det var nemt at komme ud og se noget. Hotellet havde mange gode forslag. Feks. forslog hotel receptonisten det store kinesiske marked. Jeg vidste ikke at der var sådan et stort marked. Lige ledes var flere af dem behjælpelige med at finde informationer til os på internet. Så personalet gjorde alt, for at vi kunne komme ud og opleve noget. Lige fra hvad metro linie til hvad bus/sporvogn nr. vi skulle køre med. Personalet kunne snakke engelsk. Så tak for en dejlig ferie.

Jeg vil forslå at der måske blev fremstillet, et godt kort over budapest trafiklinier. Lige fra alm. busruter til e-ruter. Samt sporvogne og metro. Har man et tydlig kort. Er det nemt at komme hurtig rundt i budapest. Jeg fandt et kort efter nogle dage. Men det kunne godt have været lidt tydeligere. Samt have haft hele byen med. For vi var flere gange uden for kortet. Men alt dette har ikke noget med hotellet at gøre.

The location was better than expected, we chose the hotel because of other reviewers comments about location and service. It was a pleasure to be there and the staff was excellent. We were three people traveling together and the 2 bedroom apt was perfect for our stay we didn't expect it to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

No complaints. We thought the room could have had brighter lighting but we know most hotels don't use much lighting. Perhaps a small chair could be added to the living space of the 2 bedroom apt. for more comfortable seating for more than 2 people.

Very central place, walking distance to most attractions in Budapest. For families best location.Good breakfast.

Amex not working, had problem even with Master Card. Wireless not avaliable.

i liked everything about the hotel ,the staff were very helpfull and everything was within walking distance if you felt up to it enjoyed our stay ,thank you

yes the shower was very powerfull but it was at hip level and you had to hold it over you to wash yourself

Excellent location very close to the Basilica, good enough breakfast. Had a room towards the yard; not much of a view, but silent.

The door to the room was difficult to open (called for quite a lot of force). The lightning of both bedroom and bathroom was on the dim side.

Breakfast was very good, and location was central. Lots of small restaurants just outside the the door.

parking facility has been shut. The room is a bit noisy. I requested smoking room, but didn't get it.

Some small maintenance issues - light bulbs, blocked sink, leaking shower basin. Slow to fix. Fluorescent bulb for shaving etc never replaced despite notifying reception
