friendly staff, good location, good breakfast
We were 3 adults and got room for max. 2 people, one extra bed was placed beside the double bed which made room very small.
the worst hotel near the burnt house, it is dangerous to walk !!! breakfasts worse does not happen, the rooms are very dirty and bad, it's a flophouse, rather than a hotel !!!!!
Friendly staff, near was metro station, breakfast good. Quiet.
The room was dirty, especially the shower. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Smelling cigarette and indoor air was bad.
Old furniture, Old TV, an universal remote which îs not working properly, the walls with a very old aspect, etc..parking on street, pay by hour about 1 euro/h...so the price combined with parking fee îs about a more comfortable hotel room, modern one...
Close to a metro station.
Worst breakfast i have seen. Noisy and worn down rooms. Smelled like mould in the bathroom.
The hotel is located near an underground. The staff is pleasant and speak English very well.
A bathroom is quite old with worn out accessories. The shower is very small and leaking. There is not clean enough. You could hear a noise in the next room.
Location, friendly staff, airport shuttle for only 2500 ft per person.
Breakfast was very poor, the same every day. No water available, only instant juices and bad quality of coffee. The meat and cheese cuts seemed being artificial and absolutely tasteless, no butter available besides margarine. I still can't understand why our toilet plastic seat was painted? and not for the first time.... these things are very cheap...could do something about it . Location was very close to the center only 10 min walk, but the hotel street and neighbourhood is not the best one, lots of gypsys around and homeless in need of alcohol approaching you sometimes. I wouldn't say it is very safe to walk around late evening in there as well.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good, near to metro station and the hero's square, also not far from the East Railway Station.
perfect location, surprisingly cheap, good place if you just need to oversleep somewhere for a reasonable price
location, accessibility, service
bathroom design can be improved to prevent splashing the door and the room carpet
I loved staying at the hotel! The location is perfect: walking distance from the train station, to the river, to many things. The staff was really nice and friendly and professional. The room was nice and spacious.
The wifi worked in some parts of the room well, in others not so much. There was no shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom (I'm not sure if it's the standard for it to be there but I thought it was). The room right above the reception desk gets (understandably so) a little too much noise from the outside (from the reception desk area).
Strong and free wifi, good breakfast, courteous staff, location is just 1 block from the m1 subway station, generally comfortable (if worn out) room
Bathroom is quite old with worn out fixtures, bedding and wallpaper is outdated, room window faces an unattractive courtyard
The personell is very friendly and nice. Breakfasts are not chick, but nice - except coffee.
WiFi in our room was not great, we didn't find soap in the bathroom, which was not comfortable, and there was no hairdrier which is a problem in winter.
the hotel is located near a metro station.
the shower was very small and leaking, the sink was broken. you could hear all that the neighbors in the next room are doing and talking. the breakfast was horrible.
staff is very very very good... the hotel is well placed
the room is not clean at all
Location is really superb, transport links are excellent
There no in-room facilities for making coffee/ tea. The walls are rather thin, so you will hear tap open in the next room
The location is excellent.
It is not clean enough.
Staff were friendly and great to go to for advice or tips. Breakfast was very good value Location was very good, just off a main road (Andrassy) that you could walk to either end for main attractions (one way to the zoo, heroes square and castle park, the other way to the river, castle and gellert hill areas)
It's pretty close to the city centre.
We were in a room on the ground floor. It was fine for three people, but I didn't like how it smelled.
Only Location and Quiet area
Staff, information's described in your website about the hotel not is not exactly as real.
Great value for money. Bathroom a nice surprise, huge shower cubicle and very clean. Staff very helpful, made a lot of helpful suggestions!
Location Very good value for money Friendly staff Very good breakfast for only 3 €
Location and price was good.
We stayed in room 17 which was extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was extremely hot possibly due to underground piping according to the staff. This lead to the room being heated up to sauna temperatures(this is no exaggeration). We could not sleep well at night and had to take frequent ice cold showers just to survive. Staff could not provide us with an alternative room so we had to endure this for 4 days. Please insist not to be placed in room 17 when you book. This was by far the worst room I have ever experienced in my life so far and I am from South Africa which is known for its high temperatures.
The hotel is on a reasonably quiet street
I booked a double room, but when the receptionist handed over the keys I was disappointed to find that I had a twin room - not ideal for a romantic break. I was then sternly informed that I had to stay in this room and then repack and move my belongings the following day when my reserved room was available (this was despite there being triple rooms available - a double and a single bed - and it being 11pm!) - altogether, the hotel was unhelpful and showed little or no interest in guest satisfaction. When I inspected the twin room it was tired and dark with linen well past its best. There was a real 'hostel' feel to the decor, with minimal soft furnishings. It seems logical now why on GP weekend where everywhere is sold out, this hotel is still empty. Refusing to stay in such a poor quality establishment that wouldn't honor my actual booking request - despite the requests from booking.com's helpful staff - the Manager wanted to keep the money from the entire stay (after investigation my bank retrieved the payment thankfully)... I wont be booking in this hotel again and would strongly advise anybody else against it too. Booking.com has several other local options which have been much much better.
The location and the very good English speaker staff.
The sewage smell in the hotel (but it smelled like that in all Budapest, so it could be something general). Also, the air conditioned device was liking and the night was like a chinese drop torture.
