Nice breakfast friendly staff Good location Venture into buda too which is less showy than pest but quiet and interesting Try gellert spa with package with breakfast from gellert hotel, just a few hundreds CHF more. I miss it. Found out when i finished spa and apparently hotel charles does not know this. They can book spa for you Near bus train tram stations Good exchange rate. Need not change at bank

Though a hotel gives you the feeling of homestay with friendly staff and remember where you are about. I have a day away and other staff just know. The breakfast is good not lavish. It is close to citadella one can walk across the bridge to the Pest side or by bus 3~4 stops. They sell bus and tram tickets too. A nother merit is closeness to train station for inland or cross country travel.

Friendly staff, good central location, rooms are excellent with kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable.

It is the best hotel where I have stayed in Europe. We felt like at home, the staff was very friendly, helpful and they speak a good english. We booked a private Airport transfer which was excellent. Moreover, the last day, the hotel prepared a take away breakfast because our flight was at 6 o clock in the morning. The breakfast buffet was delicious and also the restaurant. We had a dinner and we loved the food. The hotel is located in Buda and you can reach Pest in 10-15 minutes by walk or by bus (you have to take the number 112 and 8). Our room was spacious, clean and cosy.50 yards round the corner there was a bus stop, No 78 which linked up with the No 16 to go up to the Castle on top od Buda, or close to the Funicular or Lift again up to the Castle area. Using the official tourist map given to us by the hotel reception we soon found Metro service which took us to the Heroes square and the nearby Hot Bath's. The trams took us to the Parliament building. You don´t miss the Széchenyi Baths (The Subway stop: Széchenyi fürdö‎) -definely the best in Budapest. The Gellért Spa is very touristic and smaller. Enjoy your travel in Budapest.

The hotel is well situated just 3 bus stops from Ferenciek Tere, the staff where plentiful and very helpful. The apartments where large and the kitchenette included a double hotplate and a fridge. There is a small shop just down the road (<50m) where you can buy drinks, bread, and cheese etc

Great staff, great location. Exceeded all my expectation. Very good and polite english speeking staff. Next time I will book breakfast-due the short stay we didnt have it this time. If you travel on budget one of the best solutions in Budapest.

Friendliness of all the hotel staff fully compesate some minuses in room facilites. Good quality of wireless Internet in the room. A wonderful restaurant with a new menu that includes dishes like Hungarian and Mediterranean cuisine. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. And all of that for for real value.

As a recomandation ,I suggest you,to improve your fonic isolation of the rooms.( Street noise) .

The staff is unbelievably nice and kind and they are willing to help you with everything. The rooms are clean and cozy and the bed is super comfortable :)

They could change the room doors, the are a bit old.
