hotel charles is clean, near historical center of budapest, accessible via buses. and not expensive

Clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, very nice staff, good breakfast. Good value for money. Located pretty close to the historic center (25 minutes walk)

The windows were not noise proof, so there was a lot of noise from the street. Very hot in the room. No air conditioning in the rooms (only an electric fan)

Pleasant, clean, comfortable hotel (room provided with a little kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, dishes etc), good location to visit the old town. Rooms with view to the interior yard are totally quiet and peaceful, maybe should avoid rooms to the main street.

Parking was on the sidewalk, quite tight, needs more parking facilities.

Good food, clean rooms, good positioning - city center proximity, amiable staff -> all in a very good value for money deal

The hotel was good in whole, what we expected. Our room was specious and light. The breakfast was very good, with selection of hot dishes. The staff is very helpful and friendly. But there were some grievous details. A bed was too short, not comfortable to sleep if you are tall. Some of the staff were too sickly-sweet, especially waiters at a restaurant. That district is noisy in the morning time.

rooms facing the street can be rather noisy at times. no trashcan in bathroom.
