Hotel Charles

Hotellissa on eri tasoisia huoneita, nyt saimme "kanta-asiakkaina" luokkaa paremman huoneen samaan hintaan - ilmastointi ei kuitenkaan toiminut (onneksi kelit eivät vaatineet sitä). Huone oli kadun puolella ja melko meluisa. Aamupala on hyvä, ravintola viihtyisä, hlökunta avuliasta. Kulkuyhteydet toimivat julkisilla välineillä hyvin.

Close to the city, with a regular bus stop just outside the door. Staff were very freindly and helpful with a great grasp of languages

If you don't like the heat then make sure you book an air conditioned room as they can get quite warm and there is only a fan in the non air conditioned rooms.

The windows were not noise proof, so there was a lot of noise from the street. No air conditioning in the rooms (only an electric fan).

Staff was very helpful. The staff provided many services including reservations, tickets, and excellent exchange rates.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, bathrooms and even the kichinette; good buffet breakfast included

during the night, the noise coming from the street and the big traffic was really disturbing;

Good service and info about cabs and directons to places. Close to conference centre and quick trip to downtown and buda castle.

No refund on breakfast charges if you book room with breakfasts but dont actually have breakfast. Reception staff member was a bit unfreindly.

Most of the rooms doesn't have airconditioning (only superior rooms has it). Standard rooms have ventilators (sic!). The noise from the street is quite disturbing,

Hotel staff were very helpful - provided directions, suggested activities for tourists, booked tickets for performances/shows. Food at the hotel's restaurant was excellent (large servings), prices were comparable to middle-range restaurants in the city. The city centre is easily accessible from the hotel as there is a bus-stop just outside the hotel.

I liked the fact that the staff are people who speak Romanian. Also, the hotel staff is very kind. The hotel is near the center.

Clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, very nice staff, good breakfast. Good value for money. Located pretty close to the historic center (25 minutes walk)
