The staff was very nice and helpful. There is a bus station right next to the hotel, which is great if you aren't traveling by car. We enjoyed our stay.
Liked the restaurante and its ambience. Liked the localisation. Liked the staff they were warmly wellcoming.
Stayed in room 20 a and bathroom door was see through glass so it was not comfortable. Also windows of the room were very old I was scared of braking while opening it . and there was no fresh air in the room. Left the windows open all day long and it was kind of a cool temperature outside. Each room didnt have a television. Two different pasword were given but none of them work for the wi-fi. It could have been litlle cheaper.
Very good location - bus stops near the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, speeking english. They try to help you with anything you ask. You can buy on the reception tickets for an excursion on a bus, boat or Sicheni bath - the price is the same like anywhere. Perfect breakfast - for any taste. Parking inside the courtyard. One of a staff spoke ukrainian and russian. In a room we found all the needed pamphlets on what are must sees in Budapest.
The only problem was that our room windows were to the road so it was a little bit noisy, but after the whole day running we didn't hear anything. You can ask for a room with the windows looking to the yard.
Great budapest and many pleasure.
Personnel was very friendly and helpful Very clean room Small free parking near hotel and guarded parking in the yard
Staff were excellent, room was comfortable and also the location was good.
Excelent location. Good breakfast, very helpful staff. The room is quite big and the beds are good. You are only meters away from city centre, the fisherman's bastion and other attractions. Very good value for money.
The hotel looks quite old and the room is not refurbished. The parking is small.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good location - bus stop outside hotel, buses to city centre every few minutes and trip lasts 5 - 10 minutes. Easy walking distance to Gellert Hill. Great restaurant.
Wi-fi was erratic. Not all rooms have air-con included in room fee.
Staff really helpful, cheerful, and courteous Location is good as hotel is walking distance to Buda castle and Citadel also public transport just outside door. Room is spacious and the cooking facilities are good great to be able to have breakfast in room at whatever time suits you instead of having to be at breakfast between certain times
Hotel located on very busy road to front and side also a railway line so you have the added noise from trains.Double glazing doesn't help.If noise bothers you this might not be the place for you
Clean Excellent location Excellent wifi Value for money
Breakfast should be free of charge
The staff were efficient and friendly. The restaurant food was of a high quality (at reasonable prices), excellent breakfast both in variety and amount. The location suited us well, a short walk from the centre, or a few minutes by bus (bus stops immediately outside). We would definitely stay here again.
old fashioned but large rooms, comfortable bed, good wi-fi. Situated near the top of Gellert Hill walking downhill is fine, and uphill it can be difficult but there is a bus station in front of the hotel and they are really frequent. The stuff is very, very nice and exceptionally helpful.
Old TV and poorly equipped kitchen
Large rooms Large, comfortable beds Cleanliness Great, helpful staff Great cuisine at hotel's restaurant 15 min walk to The Citadella and not more than 25 min walk to the center streets
Awful wifi connection Old, unsecure room doors Heat should have been turned on at least a little, freezing cold during early morning hours
The money exchanger offer in the hotel (free of charge). The keenness of the staff to help. The location of the hotel. Very quiet rooms despite being on the main road. Wifi in the room.
The drainage in the bathtub was pretty slow. The kitchen kettle was not functioning. Stronger exhaust in the bathroom.
Situated near the top of Gellert Hill but downtown Pest is just a 5 minute bus ride away. The bus stop is at the hotel door and buses are every few minutes. I stayed here twice in September, the room overlooking the courtyard was quieter. I suggest opting for a deluxe rom with airconditioning. Room was clean and comfortable, staff are helpful. Restaurant is also very good.
WiFi was poor and often not functional.
the breakfast was very good. we ate in the restaurant that night and the food was excellent.
Well situated Not noisy Big clean rooms Friendly english staff. Fast internet
No teabags or sugar in the rooms.
The staff is polite, responsive and productive. Secure parking, garage - 8 euro. There is no longer a P+R in Deli Palyaudvar. Instead, there is the Krisztina Garage that is much more expensive than the hotel's one. Buda Center is 600-700 m away, with the SPAR supermarket and numerous boutiques. The buses that go to the center stop across the street (No. 8 etc). You may walk to the Historical Center via a park (20-30 min.), and even to the very Center (Isztvan Church, Rossevelt Square etc), 40-50 min. (slow pace). The Gellert sights are near, including the baths. The hotel is easy to find.
The noise. The windows overlooked Meszaros utca that is very noisy 24 hrs a day, including the night. You should ask for a room facing the interior yard. A metro station is a little bit far away, 1,5-1,7 km. This is an old style hotel that was renovated, and is fighting for a place "under the sun'. However, it is not always easy.
Fantastic Staff who were always attentive and exceptionally helpful. Location although appearing somewhat ordinary was incredibly convenient. Bus 8 and 112 from Keleti station stopped right outside.
Nothing - rooms are large but need a bit of TLC but overall great.
Great hotel room view. We stayed at the streed side. Wifi very good. Great hospitality and services about the tours.Bus station next to the hotel.
For those who want a quiet room, they should choose parking room view. They don't do room service.
Bus stop just out of the hotel (for city center - just 3 stops). Very clean. Helpful staff. The location is good. Even 24h market 100m from hotel. Safe parking space (closed, 24h access).
In the same building (different entrance though) apartments. Kind of strange for a hotel. Not expensive, but not a bargain either. Make a reservation for your parking. Breakfast could be richer (not bad at all, however).
noice of street at night
