This hotel is convenient to the bus lines. It is near a nice park that you can walk through on your way to Castle District - a 30 minute walk.

This hotel is also listed as an "apartment." We had no need for the separate kitchen area. The air conditioning consisted of a fan. We slept with open windows which did not have screens. Busy street with auto, bus, metro noises. Old TV but good internet service.

The hotel has a good location, close to the city center. The breakfast was OK and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided a hair-dryer for one night, free of charge, even though the room didn't have one. There is an interior parking for which you have to pay but the are some free parking places just outside the hotel. The staff suggested that we could park our car there and so we did and it was ok.

The hotel and the room need some renovation but still it's a good value for money.

The rooms are quite big for a 3 star hotel, bers are big, there was a little kitchen in our room. It looks like an aparthotel. Personal was very nice, always looking to help and assist us.

Lack of air conditioning. It is true, that was not mentioned in the reservation, but this is a standard in most romanian hotel and pensions and I didn't think that it is not a standard. I was surprised that in a Budapest hotel, this is missing. Not a big problem, since we were in the city most of the time. Anyway, you can opt for a room with air conditioned.

The staff was so helpful and willing to help all the time! Very friendly and sensitive to our needs.

The room didn't have air condition (we didn't know while booking) although they suggest to upgrade for €15 per night, and at any time of the booking it didn't mention you have extra 4% tourists tax charge. This things should be clear up front.

    Breakfast is very good .

Booking should estate that this rooms have no AC. Every hotel room in Norteamerica has one . I did not like the fact that I had to pay 10 Euros per night extra to be able to have Air Conditioned!

My family love this hotel and we used to stay every time when we were in Budapest. This was our third time. I booked a studio standard room and when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that they have a gift for us, it was upgrade there room free of charge to a deluxe suite on the first floor. The staff are excellent. We appreciate various breakfast and for delicios dinner. We will come again.

Fantastic!! I travel all over Europe as a magician and as a result stay in alot of 4/5 Star hotels, and I would like to be the first today this place was incredible! I booked a studio standard room with my girlfriend for a very reasonable price, and when I arrived at the hotel the receptionist and porters were the most helpful I've ever encountered! And put alot of the Hilton and big chain hotels to shame!! At reception I had been told they operate a system at the "hotel of guest of the day" where they will randomly select a person / persons to upgrade there room free of charge to a deluxe suite and today was our turn which I thought sounded too good to be true at first, however my jaw hit the floor when the very helpful hotel porter took our bags to the room and I was welcomed into what felt a presidential suite , we had a very clean, spacious, luxurious room on the 4th floor by the road and a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and within 5 minutes of checking in I had been thoroughly briefed into what services the hotel offers as well as a recommendation to eat at jános etterem (the on site restaurant) and was also given a 10% discount to sweeten the deal, so we went and for around £5/6 I had the best Rosé duck and pancakes with apple purée I have ever eaten even at the finest 5* restaurants in London and a beautifully recommended glass of red wine to accompany it. On day 2 upon leaving the restaurant the receptionist caught up with me and advised my Hungarian girlfriend that the room had become cheaper and as I had overpaid the day before gave me a repayment of 2500huf, We stayed 4 nights and I won't ever look elsewhere in Hungary, it was my first trip to Budapest and thanks to the Charles hotel and room 64 I will be a loyal customer for years to come. Köszönöm =D
