This hotel is excellent for its location in central Budapest. The shower is a bit basic but only a small gripe |

Very nice hotel, specially the elegant (old fashion way) and charming café/breakfast room. Dobos cake. Quiet pedestrian area. Friendly, helpful and very polite staff. The reasonable price and central location. Heating system: temperature too high. Besides it could be nice some extra pillows. |

Welcoming , friendly , polite and helpful staff , all speaking very good English . The hotel could not be better located for anyone wishing to explore both Buda and Pest , either on foot or by public transport , as it is so centrally located for all places of interest within the city area. There is a bank opposite the entrance to the hotel , a small but useful convenience store too ,and just around the corner is Budapest`s main post office . The hotel also has a good restaurant and there are also others located nearby . The only negative point is that there is no lift to the upper floors , though no doubt staff would offer to carry bags for those who needed help . |

The location of the hotel was perfect for sightseeing. Also good breakfasts and friendly/helpful reception staff. The restaurant and hotel bar had closed down. Also the bathroom (especially shower) could do with refurbishing. |

Comfortable, clean hotel in the pedestrian area of Pest. The staff was very helpful. Bathroom needs refreshment (however it is still acceptable and always clean!). Breakfast is a bit poor. |

The Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to give info, make phone calls etc. No lift. The cleaner did a very cursory job daily. I wouldn't use the phone because it was filthy. A pillow case on arrival had hairs all over it and was eventually changed on the second day once I left it on the floor. |

The hotel was simple and did the job, the central location was excellent. The towels were lovely and fluffy and the staff were very helpful, especially as we had a very late arrival. |

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Pest, on a quiet, pedestrianised street. The twin rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The choice of cereals, bread, meats etc at breakfast is more than adequate and the staff are always friendly and very helpful. I can't imagine finding a better hotel for the price. |
