The location and the breakfasts are excellent. The building is older, but comfortable, and the room I was in had been renovated. A comparable room in Paris would cost twice as much, but that is probably true of Budapest generally. The staff spoke English. Advertised as a family hotel, but there are pay-per-view porn channels with brief, free glimpses of the product. |

The Hotel was convenient for our river cruise, the room(s) were excessive in size and general comfort, and the breakfast room a Hungarian experience. Excellent wood work and panelling The floors and furniture were absolutely filthy! Beer or similar stains cover the chairs, and the floor was just grubby...BUT the bed and bathroom were impeccably clean. |

Price and location, plus attentive staff at front desk Not clean in public areas; lobby not welcoming; no option for room service; badly in need of infrastructure maintenance |

Excellent location. Good security by card. Cleanliness. Bed was like a kid's bunk bed. A flimsy thin duvet (?) left me with a head cold. |

The hotel was reasonably priced, it had an excellent breakfast buffet, it was comfortable, clean and centrally located. I truly can't think of anything negative about this hotel.. |

I think hotel staff are going to understand the opinions & claims of our hotel guests at least. There are hapenings of hotel facilities' movement over 2days without any information for our hotel guests. |

Upgraded to a room with Danube view, this made our stay. Room was clean and a good size, but basic. Facade and stairway need renovation. Lift small and slow, Smell in corridor. |

Location at the end of the Elizabeth Bridge convenient for Duna promenade & Danube. The entrance was a dimly lit marble staircase not conducive to handling heavy bags. The lift to the upper floors held only two people + luggage or three normal sized persons. Disabled access was not apparent. |

Excellent location central to everything - city bus tour, shopping area, castle, river, cruises, restaurants, market, local buses & metro.Very nice continental breakfast included in price. Staff had good English and were able to help with queries re local buses etc. It has a lovely restaurant in basment. Shuttle bus between airport and hotel very handy. Would use this hotel again. It was a bit noisy at night as near main traffic route over bridge. We had to leave window open at night because of the heat. Air conditioning would have been nice but this wasn't a major problem and it wouldn't put me off using the hotel again as its excellent location and value for money outweights what was a minor discomfort. |

The hotel was very central ad was good value overall. We liked the size of the room and it was clean and tidy. The room we had was situated over the road/bridge so was very noisy despite double glazing. Also our room was above the front door which was banged constantly! Breakfast had a good choice of foods however there was often a delay in the stocks being replenished. |

A view of the Danube from our premium room no 303. Comfortable clean twin beds and a fridge facility. The curtains were too small to cover the windows at night. The shower cubicle doors were off their rails so did not close. The basin plug mechanism did not work. There was no air conditioning. Though breakfast officially ended at 1000, any arrival after 0900, there remained only breakfast scraps |

location is excellent, room was comfortable and spacious, wonderful contenential breakfast no parking available, the staff advised me to park in a nearby garage that meant 8400 forint per night (close to 30 euro). on the day of the booking made through booking.com, the hotel charged my card with the full amount (about two weeks earlier than my stay) |

other than the location, which you can walk to most sites as well as the old castle, really nothing much. it's more like a 2 stars or less hotel in the states, more like a highway motel. they charged me for the breakfast which was supposedly inclusive in the rate. they made me pay in cash and kept saying there is no signal on their credit card machine. which i checked out early in the morning. so be aware on the bill and the payment. i definitely wouldn't recommend this one. |

we did not like anything about the hotel and had to move out after one night. The hotel didnt look as nice as the website photos. It was tatty and dirty. We had no curtains at our windows, the toilet carried on flushing all night, the windows rattled and the outside light banged on the window all night. We had double bed but two single quilts. Breakfast ran out and we had to wait 20mins for eggs which wernt cooked properly. we looked at 4 other rooms in the hotel but all were worse. We ended up getting a refund and moving hotels |

Great location, friendly staff, interesting old building right next to Elisabeth Bridge, clean rooms, beatiful medieval design restaurant. Great place to stay for who's main purpose is to visit as much of the city as possible. Rooms are a bit small and is not a good location for people who look for peace and quiet due to its location |
