Situated on the banks of the Danube River on the Buda side of the Arpad Bridge, facing Margaret Island, the Aquincum Hotel Budapest offers easy access to the city centre. A large spa area is available free of charge. Spa facilities include a regular indoor pool and a thermal pool. A hot tub, a sauna and a steam bath are also on site. Guests can get active in the fitness room. The Aquincum Hotel Budapest provides a fine restaurant which offers Hungarian and international cuisine, and a bar is also available. All rooms are air-conditioned and have free wired internet access. Bathrobes are provided in each bathroom. The Hotel Aquincum Budapest can arrange a shuttle service from the hotel to the city centre on request. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. The location is out of the city centre and the area it is in is not so nice.

Great personal and service. The room was as nice as we hoped and the Spa was fantastic! Try the relaxing massage. The breakfast was more than I hoped for! I can and I will recommend this Hotel to friends and anyone else who going to Budapest Not in the citycenter but you can walk (30/40 min) or take train just outside the Hotel (5 min) or taxi. The Hotel offers you free transfer 3 times a day!

The spa and breakfast It was not 5 star, the hotel should be 4 star. There were no main dishes to cater for vegetarians. The hotel said there was a shuttle service from the airport, there was not, you had to pay 36 euros for a taxi!

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the spa facilities were lovely, room clean and comfy Spa staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - didn't bother telling us about locker keys, didn't bother to sort us out with towels, too busy playing on the internet by the look of it

Hotel clean,comfortable,good service Food was poor, cold and unappetising. Huf4500 ( about£13.50) way too expensive for movie on TV. Initial booking price is good, but everything once inside is too expensive.

The spa I paid 15 euro more than the rate of the room from booking on a upgrated room I never asked. I always pay more than I book in Hungary. Ok, next stay will be on Margit island
