We liked the overall atmosphere, the room, especially the bed was very comfortable, spa was excellent. The housekeeping was a bit bothering, and the spa wasn't really 5 star, mainly because of non hotel guests there, secondly the floors should have been dried more often.

The best at Corinthia hotel Budapest is the building it self and the nice area where it is located. I also had an opportunity to meet the guest relations manager who was very professional and nice. It is also good that they are pretty cheap comparing to other five star hotels in Budapest. I am recommending this hotel. It is ok, as long as you don't expect a real "five star exclusiveness". It is a good business hotel to which people are being shipped by buss. Expect a bit of "soviet-flare" in reception. There is a reason why this hotel is cheaper than other five stars hotel, it is because it is not a five star hotel in anything else than the building and location. The worst thing is lack of air. Conditioning is poor and many rooms face inside the hotel. So, if you want to stay at this hotel and want it to be a five star experience I think you have to: 1. Pay the 70 extra euro per night for the executive treatment. 2. Request a room with windows outside but not towards the boulevard which is very busy and noisy. The windows are not good enough for that, and you will have to have them open while you sleep anyhow. 3. Do not eat at Bock bistro, what ever you hear about it at the hotel. 4. Even if you are a couple, request a twin (can be moved together), not a double. (The beds are to hard and bouncy, so one falls of the bed if the other one turns around in sleep.)

The luxury at the hotel was definetly a 5 star. The staff could not do enough for us. The location Was fantastic within walking distance to Andrassy street and with a tram stop right outside the door to bring you to wherever you wanted to go . The rooms were very spacious and luxurious. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of food on offer . The hotel organised a pick up for us from the airport also which I found great . The whole experience at the corinthia was delightful.

The Corinthia Hotel is an extremely nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The spa and pool area is really nice to relax in and was generally quiet. Mornings seemed a better time as it got busier in the evenings. There was a great view of the main street from our window and no noise came through from the busy street. Upon arrival our room was upgraded to a suite which included a full living room and big bedroom with twin bathrooms. Overall an excellent hotel that we would highly recommend. Breakfast was not included in our room and at 30 euro each we thought it was way too expensive to try out even for one morning.

I was so impressed with the quality of service that I was provided with. I came to the hotel with my girlfriend, for her birthday. We were in Budapest, as a surprise to her, to see the Opera. Our room was upgraded, and there was a card wishing my girlfriend a happy birthday, with a complimentary bottle of Hungarian, and chocolates. The Spa was perfect and we left the hotel with such a satisfied feeling. I would like to thank everyone for their hospitality, and making this weekend something truely special! I will recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone who will listen! :) Best regards, Alexis Student

The rooms were lovely. We were there in mid-October and found our room to be too hot. The maintenance department said they could not do anything about this as the air conditioning was off for the winter, already. We had difficulty sleeping a few nights do to this. (Even without any covers).

Beautiful hotel, with pleasant staff who were polite & friendly. We had a free upgrade to include an adjoining suite on the executive level which was a good surprise. Probably a bit too far from the major sightseeing areas.

The retro elegance of the common spaces, the Wellness area, the availability of lifts at every corner, the total absence of dust/dirt in the room, the position, the kindness of the staff is absolutely perfect, out of common if you know the Budapest manners. Parking available at a reasonable price considering the standard. At the moment of the check in they charged my credit card more than 50% over the booking value, and only after I requested clarifications I was informed it was for warranty. 3 days after the check out, nothing on my account is yet debited or credited, but still an amount equal to 150% of the value of my stay is blocked... And I do not have anything "for warrancy", not any interest for the financial service I did provide :-) That´s substantially not a big deal but yet not an elegant use.
