REcepcionista preparada e atenciosa. Quarto muito bonito, a cara dos anos 40 a 50 com o conforto atual Lavanderia demora mito para devolver as roupas, cheiro de cigarro na recepcao. A cama era na verdade duas camas de solteiro juntas. Colchao ruim.

The decor of the restaurant was interesting also the rooms were decored in a interesting manner,the staff was friendly,location was good. Internet wasnt working in the room,bed was awful, every time you move while sleeping you can hear a noisy squeak.Breakfast was poor and had the same things every day.

The location of the hotel was good and it was in easy distance to anywhere in Pest side of the town. Room was huge and it had nostalgic atmosphere. The hotel staff were nice and helpful. It was good value for the money. Room was quite old and grunge. If you don't mind that it's ok, because it was otherwise clean. But if you are looking for more luxury feeling, then this is not your place. The bed was cracking, the room was not very sound-proof and the breakfast was not worth of much. But I would still say it was good value for the money.

We stayed in Al Capone room which is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Very nice breakfast served in a fine dining room. Jacuzzi in our room did not work.

The best things about this hotel are the retro atmosphere and the location.The price was good,the breakfast satisfactory (until 11'o clock,wich we found very convenient) and the stuff friendly and quite helpfull.In general it wasnt one of these faceless hotels,it had its own style. The room could use some more cleaning(bathroom,floor),since we were there for like 5 days,though we did have clean towels every day.Some small details also needed changing,like a few holes on sheets and table-clothes or stains on the tapisserie.

The room was fabulous! Very big, cozy and comfortable. We got a room with jacuzzi and I would say that this was the most charming hotel I've stayed on ever and it wasn't expensive at all! Totally recommend it!

I like the position, which is perfect! Room n 7 looks is awful! Dirty and cold! The hotel it s ok but try to ask about the room you ll get, if it's the number 7 go away!

fabulous room size & decoration (Al Capone suite), helpful staff, cheap room rate but I guess prices are low in Budapest anyway! overheated room, jacuzzi not working, disturbing works in the hotel without notice; strange atmosphere of nighclub in the breakfast room; poor breakfast buffet; this hotel was rated a 8/10 on booking.com, which I feel overestimated!

Hotel location is wery goog, in center of town. Wery good price-quality report. The design of the hotel is excelent in a classical line. The breakfast it was various and delicious. We recommend this holtel to ewerybody! Ewerithing is ok.

Staff was very kind, one of the best I 've ever seen. Asked for additional blankets- no problem, sir; asked for turn on central heating - no problem, sir; asked for individual heater - noproblem, sir; Amazing service. My recomendation. Internet was very fast, no problem with it at all. Location is very good - 5 vinutes to Parlament, 10 to city centre. Car parking 20 meters from the hotel. Shower cabin was broken, sink was broken. No soundproof, you can hear everything happens outside the room, any conversation on the streets. And wind was blowing through the windows. There was a drought. Breakfest is typicall for couple euros, quite poor.

Really charming, characterful, unusual hotel. A great place for a break - each room is 'themed' on an old-time celebrity. The hotel is above an old jazz/cabaret club (there's no disturbance from this) and it's character rubs off on it. Breakfast OK. Staff friendly and helpful and wi-fi worked fine. Room was really hot, which was fine for me, but might not for everyone. Inexplicably they didn't seem to have any coffee at breakfast. I guess if I was complaint-minded both of these might have been remedied though, so don't let this put you off.

Close to centre in bohemian quarter. Breakfast was really poor. Buffet had no selection: one slice of omelet, some cheese and some tomatoes with cucumbers. Fruites they had were starting to go bad. By my understanding coffe is smth different compared to what they served. Based on experience one should consider that breakfast is not included.

It is small, 18 rooms, and individual. All the rooms are themed to famous Americans of the 1930s/40s. The double rooms are huge and well furnished. The wardrobes have ample space and there is plenty of storage space. These rooms have a bath with a hand held shower. The twin rooms are much smaller and have a shower cubicle, no bath. The windows open but there is also an air con/warmair unit in the rooms. The location is excellent for the West train station about a 5 minute walk. The train goes to the airport in 25 minutes. The city centre is about 15-20 minutes walk which is an interesting walk as there are many wonderful buildings, squares, artworks, restaurants and bars en route. Also there are many ways to get to the centre; walk, tram, metro. There is an evening poker club in the basement and although when in your room you can't hear anything, the club is a smoking area and the smell of smoke drifts upwards to the guest rooms during the evening. The guest rooms are non-smoking so it makes a mockery of their policy. The breakfast was measly. Help yourself but very little of it. There is freshly cooked sliced omlette, very greasy streaky bacon and frankfurters. Processed sliced ham and cheeses, cucumber, tomatoes. Sliced bread for toasting and rolls. Some yoghurts and fresh fruit. Three types of cereal all not very nice. There are flavoured tea bags tea but no plain breakfast type. The coffee is from a machine and is awful, and the milk is uht. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

Close to Nygati Station In a dodgy backstreet. Very suspicious looking and unfriendly male staff loitering and smoking in reception, I did not feel 100% safe in the hotel. Room not very clean and extremely noisy all night from moto-scooters etc outside. Old windows were not effective in keeping room quiet. Threadbare curtains did not close properly and let streetlights shine through. Bathroom and Jacuzzi very tired looking. Considering I was staying in the hotel's best room (replica machine guns hanging on wall and pics of Al Capone did not float my boat!) I dread to think what the cheaper rooms which have received bad reviews are like. This place had the air of a former brothel which had not been redecorated before opening as a hotel!

The front office staff was very helpful and friendly. / I liked the antique furnitureand and very high ceiling of the guest room. / It took just a minute to fill the bathtub with hot water. フロントスタッフは親切で観光- 地への質問にも丁寧に応じて下さいました。客室内の調度品はアンティークで趣があり、天井がとても高く、解- 放感がありました。お湯の出がとても良く- 、ゆっくりと浸かれました。 It's the hotel's main theme but I didn't like the famouse musicians or actor/actress's big doll at the entrance... The planter for green at the window (Chaplin room) was just soil and seemed not taken care of. I wish there was some green or flower there.
