Great location, comfortable, clean rooms, helpful personnel. The spa is also great, with large swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and solarium, open until 10 pm. The breakfast was also very good, great variety, delicious.

Almost everything was fine.

Poor knowledge of the english and german languages.

We stayed in one of the suites, which was roomy and comfortable. The staff were not as friendly or attentive as would have been expected and the restaurant dinner and breakfast was sub standard for a five star hotel.

Great location (the city is rather small, practically all locations are good) However the service it clearly not on a five star level, fortunately the price is also below that category.

This is clearly not a five star hotel. It misses small things in all areas compared to other hotels in the same category -Had to pay when check in and again when you check out -All areas were half dark -Sauna and wellness area is rather poor, it does not offer too much -However it is a modern building, the room was just not practical. Like no light switch next to the bed to turn off the main lights, the desk cannot be used, since there was no leg room and so on. -The restaurant cannot be recommended for dinner -the wifi login asked at the front desk is free. However if you try to activate the same service from your room, they charge you. -The hotel tried to charge for the parking fee as extra, however it was offered on the booking.com as gratis

The ambience and the welcoming staff.

Staff was very courteous, competent, flexible and attentive to details. The location is excellent for the proximity of spa and restaurants.

The hotel, practically, has one restraurant as the second, called Firenze (I think), is reserved for groups/ reception purposes.

A pleasant surprise - would definitely stay again.

The swimming pool was closed every weekday from 1100 to 1400 hours also no massages were available

We liked the spacious room and the fresh omelette which was made in front of us based on our choices at the breakfast. They offer a wide assortment of foods and vegetables.

We had to pay upon our arrival like in a budget hotel however they received our booking with credit card details. Furthermore they charged more in huf then the amount mentioned in our emailed confirmation. Maybe it is because they calculate in euro but come on we are Hungarian guest in Hungary paying with a huf based credit card. The hotel is definitely not a 5* hotel but a good 4* one so you should adjust your expectations accordingly.

The staff was very helpful. My co-worker got stung by a bee. The staff immediately offered medical support. I thought it was exceptional service.

The room was too warm for sleeping and there seemed to be no way to cool it off. I didn't get a good night sleep.

An exceptionally comfortable hotel with very friendly staff and a fantastic swimming pool and spa. The breakfast at the hotel is first class with a wide and varied choice of good quality items. This Hotel is a must if you ever visit Debrecen.

Perfect Hotel, perfect Staff, super location, good breakfast. We would like to stay here again.

Air Condition was not very effective otherwise all perfect.

No air condition at reception, only one telephone line and had to wait half hour as tele line was busy and taxi could not be phoned. Charges for bottle of water which most five star provide complimentary. No way five star standard. Breakfast is like budget accomodation

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Divinus. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. No communication barrier at all. They helped with arranging transportation, recommended certain restaurants, and advised on places to go. The room was very clean with classic vintage furnishings. The hotel itself is situated in between the University and City Center.. Only a couple of tram stops away either way... There was a wine festival a few minutes walk from the Hotel during our stay which was excellent Debrecen itself is a very nice city.. Very quiet and peaceful. Good shopping centers too with shops like Zara, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger Will definitely stay at Hotel Divinus again when I visit Debrecen later on this year.

Very nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Very hard and a bit small bed, desk is a drama to work on (no leg-space), no free wifi, cable-connections deep under a desk (you must crawl on the floor to get under this Mickey Mouse desk !

The hotel is lovated in a nice area, and te hotel is new and well equiped.

The hotel staff dont know english so well, and would be expected from a 5 stars hotel.
