The place is well situated and the staff is friendly.
Everything wa perfect: nice staff, clean bathroom with the shower higher level, delicious breakfast (you can eat the food even when is not a time for breakfast), about 50m to the supermarket, quiet place, near to the centre. It is also easy find the parking very close.
You can"t expect that you will be for this price alone in the house and you will do what do you want.
Really bad place DO NOT GO THERE..there is an other address on the map when you make the confirmation but the place is very far from the centre and next to a gheto.when I was to go they sent me the real address and told me that they do not have a resepsionist 2 days before going. All these were not mentioned on the internet and when they told me the truth I could not cancel it because the could take the money from my card. Also when I called to ask someone come there and explain me why this happened they never came.they take the money and they leave so you can not find them. Also very bad place full of drug users
My parents enjoyed a lit their staying. Everything was ok. Denes was helpful and always trying to help. Perfect location and good price. Comfortable and heated. Thanks a lot!
This is not an house. It's a room for rent. Photos do not reflect the truth. Bathroom and kitchen are disguisting. Door is so weak that you can't even sleep in peace with its condition. Place is noisy, walls does not prevent the sounds from other people.
The staff here is a+++, very friendly and very helpful! Wizz air lost my luggage for 2 days and the staff was very helpful in getting it back. I can't thank them enough. I used their Rolling Reception service to pickup/dropoff from the airport which is a reasonable 19 euro each way. The location is very close to the main railway station and many buses go to the centre in a few minutes. There is a all you can eat buffet restaurant near and also Aldi grocery store. The clean room had everything we needed, a nice bed, hot shower, if the wifi is weak just go in the kitchen which has a microwave and small fridge and the breakfast had milk, orange juice, cheese, fresh bread, small meats, etc. If the wifi stops working just unplug the router and plug it back in. If you checkout early, remember to open the gate door with the keys first before dropping off the keys in the mailbox. This was the 2nd time I stayed here, a great place and amazing value.
Super helpful staff in both guest house and in apartments when they were there; perfect location minutes from river and opera house; clean, well heated in Dec, good bedding and good matresses for the price, great to be able to make coffee, breakfast, sandwiches. Kitchen is simple but only needs to be as ther are so many great good value places to eat very near. Would def stay here again.
Nothing to dislike.
This place has 2 properties and was in a good location (especially the one near the Keleti train station). Very cheap, room was always warm with its radiators, bed was comfartable and the bathroom was good. Breakfast is included, just simple bread and cereals, although they got me fruit when I could not eat the bread as I am allergic to gluten, The staff are really friendly, cheerful and helpful, always trying to give you tips and help organise things. We enjoyed the place so much we came back to it after going to Sopron and it was very conveniently close to the train station.
One of the 2 rooms we were in had a leaking shower, so the floor was always wet.
Location was super, in the center, very close to the metro station. The personal was very friendly. Apropriate price for the apartment.
A very helpful staff - they can give you great recommendations about everything in the city. Nice, cosy warm rooms. A walk to the city center takes around 30 minutes which can be a bit tiring. Be aware that studios (for 2 persons) are situated at the mentioned here address, but all other rooms are at 1081 Rakoczi street 61 (where we actually stayed). There is a good transport hub though. Metro, bus and tram stops are within 5 minutes walk. Product shops are within 10 minutes walk. The breakfast is pretty basic, but great that they serve it it all for such money! Plus you can use a little shared kitchen with electric kettle, microwave, cups, plates and utensils. They can also provide you with a hairdryer and iron on request. All in all a very pleasant place to stay. Would definetely recommend it to friends and stay again if I need.
Quadruple rooms are a little far from center.
Cheap, clean, close to the city center, close to metro station and train station.
No TV in the room (but we know it). Breakfast start at 9.
shower bathroom nice. Good wifi.
Hard to find. Breakfast is just so so.
Good value for money.
Dark apartment on ground floor... stuff tried to keep the apartment clean but there was not fresh air there. There was mould on the wall in one corner.
For 16 eureurper night we had our own spacious room decorated in beautiful colors with a private shower and restroom made of marble! (The shower actually worked! Not hand held!) Did I mention this covered breakfast for both of us from 9-12? It was amazing. Right next to the metro and train station, on a main, really nice city street. The WiFi was great. There is a beautiful private courtyard with trees and plants too. The owner is very humble and nice. Quiet area..great sleep.. We gave him 5 extra euros for each night at ththend of our trip because we feel it was deserved.
good location and kind friendly crew / the condition of the room and bathroom! The price is really cheap
very friedly staff
little bit shaby and tired surroundings
I liked everything, and for sure if I ever come back to Budapest I will stay at Elvis again :-)
Comfortable beds Plenty of space in the family room Clean bedsheets, floors, and bathroom 10 minute walking distance from Keleti train station
Slow internet Better breakfast? 10 minute walking distance to closest underground station
very noisy , you can hear everything in the room .
The location was amazing, it was truly central in the middle of Budapest. It was an apartment style, it felt very safe...you needed a code to get into the apartment complex, then a key for the apartment hall, and then lastly a key to the room. The area itself was very quiet and peaceful especially at night. Our studio was comfortable, and all facilities were clean. Very affordable and worth the price.
We weren't given bath towels which was the only thing we didn't like about the property.
very affordable super-friendly staff good wi-fi easy to access flexible check-out time (talk to the staff)
thin walls general area around the guesthouse is not the best - homeless people, not super clean etc. breakfast is very plane
The staff were friendly and the free breakfast in the hostel was a nice "bonus".
We had booked a double room for 2 nights in Budapest, but upon arrival we were told that our room was not available. We were then taken to an apartment, about 5 mins from the hostel. The apartment was pretty awful - not dirty as such, but very old and grotty. The building itself was in pretty bad shape - graffiti everywhere and hardly any light. We didn't feel very safe and secure in this place and were worried about leaving our things in the flat while we explored the city. Maybe this was a one-off, but I think guests should be told in advance if the room they had booked was no longer available!
In the citycenter at 5 min by walk from the Parliament, good comunication with the staff, I have to underline the honesty of the manager, I made a mistake and paid more, He gave me back the money the day after, many thanks
It had not been cleaned before our arrival
Work up and my clothes were wet as the room was so damp. The staff has hung material on the wall to try and cover black revolting mould.
