Hotel Erzsebet City Center  

My husband and I thought that hotel was an excellent value because the price was good and the location central. Our room, which was on an inside courtyard, was quiet and comfortable. At the cost of 6€ a day each, the breakfast was also a good value, offering a huge selection of both hot and cold dishes. In addition we appreciated having a non- smoking floor. Close to the hotel is the Govinda Vegetarian Restaurant (closed Sundays), which is wonderful and extremely well priced. T

The carpet in our room was very stained, and smoking was allowed in the bar, which is adjacent to the room where breakfast is served. Also the Internet was very expensive--close to $20.00 a day and unreliable. However, the hotel staff sent us to a pleasant cafe next door where wifi is free. Unfortunately, because the Cafe Central allows smoking, we could not use it. The good news is that beginning January 1, 2012, the cafe will be completely nonsmoking.

Very close to many nice areas to visit. Price for 4 days in center of Budapest was fantastic. Elevator and nice room. A/c was good. Gergo and other staff were very helpful with all our needs.

Outrageous WiFi charges when free WiFi at Kelta Pub and Central Cafe around the corner was convenient. With a car forget it. Impossible to find it without "magical" gps- ours wasn'T. Parking garage not bad but to get from garage to hotel had to cross two bridges over the Danube to get to the hotel front door to load bags. If no car this is the place; with a car fins some place else.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Budapest's center - clean, nice and perfectly located next to Vaci utca (Main shopping street) and Danube river. Staff were polite and helpful. This hotel gave me everything I needed. Strongly recommend it :)

It was situated close to the main shopping and tourist areas. It also offered good value for money, apart from not having a toaster available for breakfast. However the staff were very obliging.

Central location.

Excellent hotel, wonderful location, in the heart of the city, just a few meters away from vaci street and chain bridge, but still very guiet and tranquil. Very clean hotel, the cleaning ladies cleaned our room every day and brought us new and clean towels! The reception was very polite and extremely helpful! I recommend this hotel to everybody that wants to visit budapest and have a blast! Next time I visit this marvelous and romantic city, I'll definitely stay in this hotel again!

Very good location and nice English-speaking service. Also good for those travelling by car, as the hotel gives a discout for a garage nearby. Would stay there again.

Not a complaint as such- tea and coffee making facilities would be a simple and welcome addition.

The staff is very nice and helpful. They speak several languages and even brought our luggages upstairs!! The location is perfect, very close to the metro and many tourist spots.

We only had one issue. The bedsheets were not clean we asked to change them. They just brought another sheet and left on the bed! We had to do it! The next day the cleaning lady put the dirty sheet back on our bed when we had left it on the floor!!! The blankets were too small and at night it was a bit cold in the room.

Excellent location with very pleasant staff, fair rooms and breakfast, and unbeatable price anywhere we have ever been :) A winning choice.

Services + city centrum.

Internet access should be free or at least with reasonable price for a whole day or whole stay. It is a nuisance to run to reception and always choose a separate time span for your needs.

it was very central and located on a lovely street. Also very quiet and relaxing. The staff were very polite and friendly and the room was spacious

We could her the noise of the water being flushed from the room above; the heating wasn't working very well
