The staff was very helpful and very nice. They really want to please you. You are really a unique guest unlike most of the hotels. The place is fantastic, and very different from other places, you are in a castle really nicely decorated, and you immediately forget about everything else. The use of the jacuzzi and the sauna is "private" in the sense that you have both of them can afford only 2-3 people at the same time...so it is great if you want to spend really nice time with your partner. In addition it is free of charge...:)) We did not use the outdoor pool but it looks nice and clean. I would say that it is a great hotel if you are looking for a romantic break or a honeymoon. We reserved a double room and we had a twin room, and it was impossible to change since the hotel was full. Not really romantic for vacation. Our room has a direct view on the garden which was nice, but we had to open the windows since it was quite warm and we did not sleep well because many dogs were barking the whole night...The breakfast was not really a 4 star quality...you do not have so many choice as usual for a 4 star hotel.

It is a very beautiful old castle newly decorated, for my 6year old daughter it seemed like a fairy tale castle where princesses sleep. In summer must be beautiful with the park, swimming pool and summer terrace The staff is not trained at all for a 4* hotel! The heating in the room did not work - the radiator was completely cold all night, only some pipes were warm, so it was really cold for January... There is only an economy light bulb in the bathroom, not suitable for a fancy castle... The restaurant had only 4 choices for dinner? Last order at 9 P.M. at breakfast we were 3 families: 1st one at 8, 2nd at 8:30, 3rd at 9. At 10 when we left the waiter did not clean the 8 o'clock table yet?? He did bring us 2 coffees that's true... At the bar we have ordered 3 times to get something that they really had, plus the bar attender had no ideea what he has or does not have in his bar. He took our order, then came back 5 min later, sorry but we do not have it...

This is one of the best hotels we visited! Excellent service, large well furnished rooms, very good breakfast, large parking. The spa area is small, but we enjoyed it. Definitively a recommendation! The bed was a bit soft und uncomfortable. The location is not great, but that is anyhow not why we went there.

Sehr schöne Innenausstattung , mit liebe zum Detail restaurierter Palais. In der Weihnachtszeit, absolut passende Dekoration. Der von uns gebuchte 3- Bettzimmer war groß genug und mit vollwertigen Betten ausgestattet. Geeignet für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Bewachter und abgeschloßener Hof mit sicherer Parkmöglichkeit. Die Tagsüber anwesenden Rezeption- und Restaurantangestellten sehr freundlich und bemüht. In dem Zimmer verlief die Hauptheizungsleitung der für einen kontinuirlichen Wasserfallgeräusch gesorgt hat, da ab 22:00 Uhr nur ein Angestellter auf dem Anwesen - jedoch nicht im Hotel erreichbar war, war ein Zimmer wechsel nicht möglich. Basisfrühstück.

Wir haben ein halbes Dutzend Schlösser in Ungarn besucht, und das Chateau Földvary war eindeutig der Höhepunkt. Hervorragend gelegen zwischen Wien, Budapest und Bratislava bietet es liebevoll und mit Sinn für elegante Details gestaltete Räume. Die weibliche Hand ist spürbar, das Interese für italienisches Design ebenfalls, und die Küche kann mehr, als nur hungrige Mägen stopfen. Bellende Hunde und krähende Hähne in der Nachbarschaft sind des nachts ein kleiner Wermutstropfen

Schitterende locatie met een hele leuke omgeving en een zeer groot bijbehorend park. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en spreekt ook Engels. Tevens zijn ze super diervriendelijk want onze 2 honden waren ook van harte welkom!
