For the price we paid - everything was worthy

    1. Good location on Buda side - trams 19 and 49 running along Bartók Béla street, between Kelenföld train station and Batthyány and Deák (Pest side) squares respectively every 5-7 minutes. Bus 103 plies directly between Nepliget bus station and Kelenfold train station. At the same time the hotel located around 50 meters aside from Bartók Béla street so there is no disturbing noise from local traffic. 2. Basic free breakfast was included in the room price.

    1. There were constant problems with WiFi access from both my netbook and smartphone. What the hotel staff were able to do, just to reset a WiFi router. If this did not help they refused to go any further, escalate the issue to IT support staff, for example. 2. After my check in the hotel, for unknown reason the hotel reported to that I didn't, and they wanted to charge me additional €14 for "No show". I alerted the hotel staff, but they were not able to address this issue. I had to contact directly, sending them my hotel's receipt as a proof to resolve it.

It is cheap, close to town (50 min walk or 15 minutes by tram). Big rooms.

Daily room service was not sufficient. We had to make up our room as we stayed for 4 nights. They only provided soap for the first time and on asking again they replied they do not have any more of it. Breakfast was very basic but ok.

Free breakfast was a highlight of our stay. Rooms are a big size.

Distance from main railway was un-walkable. Feels like an old hospital. Kitchen was provided for guest use, but there were no pans or crockery etc. Towels are not provided in rooms. On arrival the room was not very clean.

Stuff at reception was friendly, always ready to help.

Everything was so cheap. Fridge doesn't work. Good only for 1 night standing. Maybe this place is the best for students, not for travelers. If you plan to stay in Budapest like in transit place - don't recommend this, because traffic in Budapest is horrible, drivers not friendly at all (maybe its only for tourists). I spend 1,5 hours to drive through the city to highway.

Low Price for a trip. It has the Basic things which you Need. Of course ist not a 4 star Hotel, but for this price you cannot expect it. Agood Option for Young People.

Music for the breakfast would be nice.

The breakfast was poorer then 4 month ago. No towels. Internet was only near reception office.

    - very close to the highway.

    - If you like rotten cabbage smell in your bathroom - If you want hair from previous customers on your sheets Than you should choose Gerand Hotel Griff Junior. Even if it is very cheap, it does not worth even this money and the 1* is a litle bit excentric. We were discusted even if we stayed only one night "in transit". We definitely recomend noone this hotel. If you want to rest good for one night, please pay some 10-15EUR extra, don't be clenched! BR

Super cheap rooms! 45 minute walk to main part of town. Parking.

Wifi didn't work in room. Very old building. mattresses not very comfortable. Communal bathrooms quite nasty.

It is more look like a prison inside, for that value of money can find a hostel with better facilities, we went to have breakfast at 9:30 and was already empty, anyway looked poor. The location also not the best.
