Gold House Pension  

Great place to stay staff could not do enough for us on our stay. Breakfast was also very good ,The room we had overlooked the swimming pool in their garden cleanliness of room was the best we have had. Comfort of room was also very good. Was good value for money the location was fine as it was nice to have the walk down to main strand for something to eat at nights. We also had space for parking motor bike.

This is an extremely well and efficiently run Family hotel. It is a great joy to spend some time in this beautiful b&b establishment. The staff is very friendly and helpful and language is not a problem as everyone of the family members speak either German or English....depending who is at reception at the time. Rooms are very well fitted out and breakfast is plentiful. Pool and garden are a sheer delight. Give the 'Gold Haus' a try.... Well worth a visit!

Location is supurb if you come with your own car and easy to find. We arrived by train and it was slightly more complicated....Graduallly you will find out about various shortcuts! However it is refreshing to walk up from the lake....takes about 15 minutes for seniors! The Pension is well signposted....Should you have a room towards the garden and pool you might hear the odd train whizzing by as the rails are just beyond the hedge!

Friendly people, clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, good value for money, just a very nice hotelwith a nice swimming pool.

Not that close to the beach. (20 minutes walking), very close to the railroad track (not that many trains passing however), for people traveling by car very good location and parking however.

Very good hotel. Nice staff and great pool!! Always go there again.

The room was lovely. It was great to have access to a kitchenette facilities as well. Staff were very helpful. It was a slight walk into town, perhaps 10-15 minutes. Excellent accommodation and would definitely recommend it to others.

This hotel is very close to the train tracks - so at times could be a little noisy, but this would be a very minor complaint.

One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed and good value for money. Although there was very little English spoken they did their utmost to make us feel at home and valued as guests.

Swimmng pool too hot - Yes hot so not ideal for cooling down on a hot day.

Vi gillade allt! Mycket trevlig, personlig och serviceinriktad stab! Mycket bra frukost! Lugn och skön miljö! Passar mycket bra för äldre människor! Välskötta rum, hotellet är mycket välhållet, ser nybyggt ut. Byggår 2000 så man har alltså "hållt efter" hela tiden Ogillade och ogillade! Ligger lite långt ifrån centrum! Inga restauranger direkt I närheten. Med bra information om kommunikationer och matställen kan det delvis lösas! Bra är däremot möjligheten att få mat sänt till hotellet.Billigt och bra! Men fördelarna med hela hotellvistelsen överväger så tungt så vi kan inte ange detta under "ogillade"!

Wij hebben het als een leuk,zeer schoon Pension ervaren,met een enthousiaste gastvrouw.Ook kon de auto veilig achter een elek.hek geparkeerd worden.Het ontbijt was ruim voldoende.Voor een bezoek aan Balatonfüred zeer aan te bevelen.

Hotel familiar y sencillo, desayuno bufet correcto incluido en el precio, habitaciones calientes y limpias, personal muy amable aunque hablan poco inglés. El único pequeño incoenveniente es que hay que pagar en efectivo, aunque es muy económico

Es un especie de casa rural. Realmente por el precio de la habitación (47 euros) nos pareció que estaba bastante bien. Habitaciones sencillas pero limpias, con nevera, aire acondicionado y conexión a internet. Además la casa tiene piscina. El desayuno viene incluido y es bastante completo y abundante. La casa tiene aparcamiento privado gratuito. La señora que nos atendió fue muy servicial.

Realmente, por este precio no se puede pedir más. Por ponerle un pero, como la ciudad está junto a un lago, hay mosquitos, por lo que eché de menos que la ventana tuviera mosquiteras (estuvimos en verano y dormimos con la ventana abierta).

Die Besitzer der Pension sind supernett und helfen weiter, wenn man Fragen hat. Die Zimmer sind hell und freundlich und soweit ich weiß auch alle mit Balkon. Die Sauberkeit des gesamten Hauses/der Anlage war hervorragend und auch das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen - obwohl das Haus nicht ausgebucht war, weil Nebensaison (Anfang September). Der Pool ist auch schön und frühstücken kann man auch draußen auf der Terasse. Hätten wir ein Auto gehabt, hätten wir es in den Hof stellen können (abgeschlossen). Alles in allem kann man die Pension weiterempfehlen

Das einzige Manko der Pension ist die Lage: zu Fuß braucht man bis an den Hafen/Strand schon mind. 15 min. Gleichzeitig ist sie dadurch aber ruhig im Wohngebiet gelegen. Wenn da nicht die Bahnstrecke wäre. Allerdings fahren die Züge wirklich sehr selten, nachts gar nicht, sodass mich das nicht weiter gestört hat. Der Entfernung zum Balaton haben wir mittels Fahrrädern Abhilfe geschaffen.
