This modern inn is located in the heart of Budapest, only a 2-minute walk from the National Museum and Deak Ferenc ter Subway Station. The air conditioned apartments offer free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1947 reviews Wonderful
The hotel was only a few steps away from the city transit and the Keleti Station. The wifi connection was very good.
We were given a room onto the 6th floor however there was only one working elevator for our entire stay. The elevator could only fit 4 people at a time and so more often than not we had to take the stairs. Our rooms terrace had beer cans outside from the previous guest. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the carpet smelled musty.
I loved the fact that it's right across the train station, the staff is very nice and eager to help, and the breakfast was amazing
The room was clean but not the prettiest I've seen, the furniture was rather old.
hotel needs renovation equipment
Happy to be there, enjoyed,I will come back soon,
Every thing is good.
- perfect for the price - good location - great breakfast
- it's not a 4* hotel, it's not too well mainained and it looks a bit old; maximum 3*
I stayed in this hotel just for one night to take a rest before my trip to Vienna in the next day. Value for money was good, comfortable rooms, very good wifi coverage, very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was bad, made from cheap products but coffee and tea was actually terrible.
Staff unhelpfull. In receptions, man ask Me to wait in bar an he told Me when My ro will be ready, about 30min. 2h later when I ask him, what about room, he cant remember anything and room was ready hour ago. cleaners cant read labels on doors. Especially young cleaner, many times a day opening the door and say sorry. It was uncomfortable. Breakfast are not so good,
Very good price, very handy for trains.
Smoking in hallway that stank out the hotel. Linen could have been cleaner.
-perfect localization for sightseeing and public transport (railways, metro, trams, buses and trolleybuses) -nice and friendly staff -good quality WiFi
-no electric kettle in the room -dirty courtains, walls (shoe marks etc.) -shower courtain (also not very clean) instead of cabin cauisng flooded floor after every shower -outdated tv set with poor choice of channels
This is an 2 star Hotel, and even not a good one.Old , more than 20 year old TV, old lobby, not equippped bathroom, and it's DIRTY. Never again
Convinient location, good staff
Right next to Keleti Railway station. Free WiFi connection in room. Absolute quietness even during peak(holiday) time. Bathroom clean, hot and cold water always available. Room service was prompt and daily, even on Sunday. Hotel reception accepts euro and credit cards.
Not a 4-star hotel Bed is just two mattresses stacked on top of each other, not comfortable for every guest. Bathroom door was broken and staff completely ignored my request to fix it even after I was locked in once. Carpet was dirty with holes patched in a hurry.
Location, Location, Location. Front Desk Staff Room quality Clean
Breakfast was very Sausage Hungarian. :)
When we asked for extra blankets and pillows (because they were worn out thin and tiny) the maid a small dark haired woman was very sweet and although we couldn't speak any of the same languages she was helpful and kind
I never leave negative reviews but this is ludicis!!' We arrived early booking for reason of next to main train station. That was only positive. The room was on the very top floor the elevator only went to 6th had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to room. The smell was strange in hallway. Once In room it reeked of possibly sewage. Although budapest temperatures are at freezing point we were forced to open windows. The bedding had hair on it although looked clean upon further notice the interior blankets had grim and build up but hidden by duvet covers. Pillows old. Toilet seat was on sideways so of sat on it could slip off at anytime. Shower clean but NO water pressure. We were exhausted and had been asked to pay cash at front desk upon arrival. So we stayed. The following day my husband disliked the free inclusive buffet I wouldn't eat it. Day 2 when we were preparing to be leaving our room in afternoon (after long night of being out) and a man opened our room door with a card key. He said something and ran away!!! I made hubby chase him he slipped in elevator. Husband ran downstairs I took other elevator and we saw him I confronted him and asked why he was in our room. He brushed me off I asked front desk they said "oh that's Maintenance " I said no one told me. What was he fixing (thinking perhaps the awful smell !) they said oh nothing! I said that is ridiculous and it made me uncomfortable. They said nothing so I walked out front door and someone yelled "sorry" the smell never left, breakfast was half warm and greasy with cold potatoes and a child serving himself with his hands. Public transportation is fantastic so stay anywhere but here.
- excellent location, just a few steps from Keleti railway station, just perfect when your arrival is at late night, no need to use a public transport - good working wifi connection - towels included
- too big noise in the room caused by central aircondition or fan working all the night, no chance to stop it, no chance to sleep - bed mattress was largely used, maybe by too heavy people - various breakfast but not very tasty, hard-boiled eggs were totally cold, looking like few days lying in the fridge, also having a pasta salad for breakfast was a little bit strange
Close to Keleti station and tram line
Room was very small. No dining options nearby Lost power when I was checking out and had to carry my bag down 3 floors Staff didn't offer to help or apologize
Location is excellent. Very good breakfast.
I had triple room with my friends. Only two was booking in. We got triple room and double bed to share :(
-location - might not be a good spot for sightseeing in budapest. on the other hand it's only a short bus ride away from the center
- nothing i can think of
the walls in the hall and in the room were dirty. The room was very small. The feet-towel that was changed the second day of our stay had holes. The sheets were not that clean from the fisrt day that we arrived and were not changed at all during the three nights that we stayed there. This hotel is definitely not a four star hotel
good breakfast menu
uncomfortable bed, no fridge
