The staff was good - welcoming and professional. The hotel should not have 4 star - 3 stars is a maximum. The rooms are not modern, no laundry service, breakfast is poor.

The room was very comfortable, nice, clean and they cleaned it every day. Wi-Fi internet was very well in the room and there was no problem. The hotel doesn't give the full information about hotel policy. Particularly, the hotel takes deposit which is, though, given back but you are not imformed about it before. Besides, they blocked my credit card without informing me and all time I was in the hotel I couldn't use my credit card. They took cash too. There are always many people in the lobby and it's always noisy. It was a bit noisy in the room too though there were double windows.

Not bad but nothing special. Located about 20 minutes walk of the main street. Wi-fi. Place to work in a room and additional coffee table. Tea/coffee free-of-charge on request. Absolutely not luxurious. Heavly used place, totally unromantic. Old TV-set.

It was in a good position with regard to access to the shopping/sites of downtown, and one of the shopping malls/IKEA further out of town. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide choice. Good value for the money, but don't expect too much. The secured underground parking was great. Rooms at the front of the hotel are very noisy as the hotel is situated on one of the main routes through the city (Elizabeth Bridge). For a 4* hotel I thought the facilities offered were basic and the service standards were not up to what I would have expected. The food in the restaurant was pretty on the plate but not that good in taste.

I would say that the location of this hotel was very good, it was right next to Keleti train station ( 5min ) and also near metro and bus station. It was also possible to get to the centre by foot , it took about 20 min. Hotel is situated on the main street , and that was why we had pretty noice from it even when windows was closed. Personal was not helpfull when asking about transport in budapest - I was told to look it on web . And we also didnt get late check out when we askd for it . Rooms are old and it would realy need reconstruction ,but just to sleep there is ok. The worst thing was that we had a wierd noises during the night in room ( it was like some ghost in the room , it was really scary )

Breakfast and near public transportation. The sign of the hotel says Grand Hotel and Best Western sign is so small that we missed it and have to ask several people where it was. The Hotel needs a lot of improvement in the rooms; new carpeting, towels, good ventilation to get rid of smell.

It was very close to the main train station, though when heading to the hotel, veer to the right rather than the left of the huge construction project (less dangerous due to busy traffic and no sidewalks on the left margin of the project). The hotel is approximately straight ahead when leaving the front of the train station- approximately 400 meters. They allowed us to store our luggage before check in and after check out.

This Hotel îs Good if you have a train to catch this way you can sleep in. For it's $$$.$$ and size of the rooms in Europe it's fair. But not cheap. Parking for it's guests should be free.

The staff was very helpful, and the location is right next to the train station, and a short walk to the river and the main city. There is parking availible onsite. Alittle road noise but not bad.

“It was nice and new. Lots of spaces where one could have some privacy. Busy yet not noisy. Excellent restaurant. Good rooms and my wife liked the pool. Clientele pleasant and well behaved. Nice design touches inn decor. Close to metro and tram lines. Quiet street. Excellent value given the standards of the place. Most impressed.” David, Tain |
