Best Western Hotel Hungaria  

The room was very comfortable, nice, clean and they cleaned it every day. Wi-Fi internet was very well in the room and there was no problem.

The hotel doesn't give the full information about hotel policy. Particularly, the hotel takes deposit which is, though, given back but you are not imformed about it before. Besides, they blocked my credit card without informing me and all time I was in the hotel I couldn't use my credit card. They took cash too. There are always many people in the lobby and it's always noisy. It was a bit noisy in the room too though there were double windows.

Price

Located too far from center of city to be convenient. Had to call Housekeeping each morning just to get packets of instant coffee.

I booked this hotel for a special deal, 2 nights for 80 Euro, so my review is based on that price. The hotel was a bit from the city center, but fairly close to the metro station and one of the big train stations, Keleti palyaudvar. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, there's a huge mall 15 mins walk from the hotel for you shoppers out there. The room, a double in my case, was simple but all the essentials are there, a small cupboard with a couple of hangers, and hair dryer is always nice so you don't have to pack your own. Air conditioner that you could control for your room was actually needed, as it was a warm spring weekend in Budapest for me.

I did not know about about a 50 Euro reservation that the hotel would need your credit card for, in case you use any of the extra hotel services. Whether that's booking.com or best western that failed to give that info I don't know. And also I mailed best western and asked if there was a safety box in all rooms and the answer was yes, When I got there I was told my room didn't have a safety box. So they really need to improve on giving out correct information by e-mail.

Close to Keleti Railwaystation, very friendly staff/reception.

None, could have a lot to improve. Extensive clean up and staff improvement necessary.

This Hotel îs Good if you have a train to catch this way you can sleep in. For it's $$$.$$ and size of the rooms in Europe it's fair. But not cheap.

Parking for it's guests should be free.

Not bad but nothing special. Located about 20 minutes walk of the main street. Wi-fi. Place to work in a room and additional coffee table. Tea/coffee free-of-charge on request.

Absolutely not luxurious. Heavly used place, totally unromantic. Old TV-set.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel zag er netjes uit en de kamer werd regelmatig schoon gemaakt.

De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding vonden wij niet goed. De kamer was erg klein en kwam niet overeen met de foto's op internet. Daarbij kwam ook nog dat het ontbijt niet inbegrepen was en het hotel daar per nacht redelijk duur was ten opzichte van de kwailiteit.

De vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van het personeel. Ligging / Bus 7 vanaf Hotel was ideaal richting centrum / Donau en andere bezienswaardigheden

De ontbijtzaal was erg massaal en onpersoonlijk maar verder prima ontbeten!
