- Price / Quality ratio - Helpful and friendly staff. - Peaceful neighborhood. - A very good location if you are a sports or concerts fan (Papp László Budapest Sportaréna is just one step away)
- Poor breakfast quality - Poor Wi-Fi signal
clean hotel, nice and helpful staff, quiet place close to the metro station and to Arena and its surroundings. we were 100% satisfied.
It has been renovated since the last time i was there in August 2012. Friendly staff. Relatively cheap. Wi-Fi was decent in my room (101).
No sound proof rooms (situated in a quiet neighborhood, but quests in other rooms were talking loudly). The area around the hotel looks seedy but there is no reason to afraid walk from and to the hotel at night. You will only notice in occasions elder homeless people and also guests from the nearby hostel during the night.
Good location, clean rooms, staff is very helpful, fast wifi connection
can't really say anything bad
Bathroom(layout), poor breakfast
The hotel is run by the same company who manages the homeless hostel in the same building! next to a homeless only house where they can stay overnight! The towels only get changed every 4th day. during my 7 night trip i had a change of towels once. walls are so thin you can hear a person breath on the other side! Bedding not big enough for the beds and the toilets stink a lot as they don't get cleaned every day. Avoid avoid avoid.
- 10min walk from a Metro station - Breakfast was rich and delicious - Friendly staff - Rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice - A nice little cheap hotel for staying a few days
- Can't think of anything, everything was good :)
Desk clerks very helpful, rooms are very neat and clean, great WiFi service
Didn't find anything wrong.
• Good Price • Excellent Beds • Good Shower • Friendly Staff • Good Location (10mins walk from metro)
• Towels - only changed every-other day
Great stuff, clean rooms, parking secured, Wifi signal great!
Good transport links good wifi
Bedding uncomfortable undersheets too small for the bed.
Good location with free parking Friendly staff Nice breakfast
Hotel is good. Rooms are fresh and neat
The area is not safe even for brutal men ;) very creepy neighbourhood.
We liked breakfeast menu. Parking in front of the hotel is free. Near to the center.
We have ordered double bed, but we had two separated beds (connected with shorter sides). - our biggest problem Only one hook for towel in bathroom. There could be some bedside tables. We had to put things on the floor. Maybe some wardrobe would be great, we had to leave clothes in our bags.
Cheap but good hotel, breakfast is satisfying.
> Very close to the Puskás Ferenc arena > Easy access to the metro and 3 stations to the city center > Very friendly staff > Internet is super-fast > Very spacious and well furnished rooms > Sofa and wide screen TV in the living-room (good for relaxing after a long day of visiting the city)
> Our room was close to the lift mechanism and you could hear it work in the living-room
Good staff, spoke English and tried to help with quests or tips for city. Big room, with lots of space for bags and clothes. Fairly close to metro and bus stops, but hotel was not in a great area.
Location not great, no air con or fan, room gets very hot during the day. They don't change towels, unless you stay for more than three nights, but their towels are ridiculously thin and old. Breakfast was expensive for price of hotel. Bathroom was very very small and shower was awful. The beds were fairly comfortable, but the sheets barely covered the unprotected mattress, and the covers were thick, even during summer time. Not a great stay overall.
It was very easy to find this hotel and the free parking was an advantage indeed. The room was clean and nice. Fast check in/out process.
WiFi was not available everywhere, had some problem connecting to it where the breakfast is served and the speed could have been better. Also the hair dryer was not working.
they give me the worst number (4 floor), very hot, I fell myself as a Carlson who lives on the roof
Location Proximity to main public transportation Decent cleanliness Flat TV English speaking staff
Extremely poor Wi-Fi Food quality for breakfast - soft-drinks made from powder only 1 channel in other language than Hungarian
Wifi Towels was taken but not replaced! Twice !!! Too far from center
Staff was good, service was excellent.
Bad area given that gyptsies were out after 6 pm, they attempted to rob us twice within a week...
Very nice, quiet and green location. About 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, from which it took just 4 stops to the city center. The room was renovated and clean and the beds extremely comfortable (loved our firm matresses and oversized pillows!). The view from our room was lovely green trees which added to our comfort and relaxation. Finally, the staff was always pleasant and smiling. Great value for money, would totally book this hotel again. All in all very satisfied.
Just a couple of minor things: - The usual flooding of the bathroom floor when showering (happens in almost every hotel) - No shelves or space for your things in the bathroom - In the same building was a bar/restaurant for the locals and some of them (mostly working class men) made some noise in the afternoon which disturbed our sleep. Nothing too major.
THE staff were great, helpful and kind. The room was clean and pretty. And it's only 4-5 metro stations away to the center.
A bit far from the city centre, but close to the metro station so it was OK. The big city park reachable by 20 min walk. Staff really nice and helpful, we bought tickets for evening cruise and for the Szechenyi baths directly from the reception. Breakfast was very good also
Some mosquito nets at the windows would be useful
