This stylish boutique hotel with distinctive elegance is ideally located in the heart of Budapest, only a few steps from the Danube bank, the Parliament and the St. Stephen’s Basilica.
Score from 1159 reviews Superb
I like to run in the evening around the old site while viewing great buildings and views with limited cars on the toad
People let their dogs walk unleashed. Dogs do not like runners.
The view of Hungarian parliament from the breakfast table and the interior of the property
The front desk staffs were bit rude.
Room was lovely and big, lovely views, staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of historical sites all in walking distance. The bar made a good Irish coffee :) very quiet at night.
There were renovations going on in the room next door or close vicinity which woke us early each morning and there was a sewerage smell coming from the area of our room that we were in but as we only walked past it to get to our room it was not worth asking to be moved as the smell was not in our room and I am sure it was temporary due to renovation. Very quiet area at night and hard to find a decent bar, do not go to the bar across the road, extremely expensive, we preferred to drink in the hotel bar. Quite far from shops and nightlife though quick and easy enough to get taxis
position (city view rooms)
location !!! bets for a couple ...
problems with heating
The location was excellent, near all of the attractions of Buda, as well as near public transport for a quick ride to Pest.
The helpful and top motivated staff, the view .. and everything else
That I did not stay longer ..
Loved the executive lounge and view from room.
Untrustworthy taxi drivers.
Everything, views, location, staff, breakfast. Hilton Executive Lounge
Location, room quality, staf
Great location end good value/money.
It was the only hotel (among 9!!!) of all our trip without free wifi. Nowadays this is unacceptable!
In the midst of the Old Town. If you want to be easy walking distance to most attractions though, stay in Pest.
Towels were very old and not of Hilton stsndard
Loved the Danube view and location of the hotel. The staff were very helpful. Breakfasts extremely good. I understand the hotel was due for refurbishment so wondered what it would be like. The decor is a little bit dated and of a certain style but well maintained and public areas are spacious. I will certainly stay there again.
Excellent location and staff. Got married in matthias church. 100 metres walk. Could get ready in hotel. Even arriving by car was hassle free. And its even located in a beautiful unesco protected area.
Didnt like that the garage was closed during this time due to roadworks. Also roadworks behind hilton. But not their fault
Very large room and bathroom for Europe. Comfortable bed. Great view and location.
the position is very good and the view is just perfect
very good room en immediate environment is nice with good restaurants
For the price paid I found it unacceptable comparative to other cheaper hotels to pay for water and internet in the room. Coffee ordered in coffeeshop not hot Breakfast very expensive No swimming pool and distance from center of city
The location was perfection. I stayed here for three nights with my sister in a room with a view. The room was large, clean, luxurious and comfortable. Wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and will recommend this hotel to everyone.
There was nothing we did not like.
lack of possibility to buy newspapers
Great location, excellent service, was very happy with our stay.
Validation of street parking ticket for private car
It was not specified, that the Hotel garage for private cars is closed. The hotel was originally chosen by me because of the private garage for my car
The price for this hotel was good for a 5 star. They had a nice gym, and a tanning booth as well for guests (small fee). The room was large with good facilities. I had a Danube view which was fantastic. It is very quiet on the Buda side which can be nice in its own way, and its a short walk up / down the hill to get to the shopping mall / train / bus station. Lots of pretty buildings up on the hill. You are IN the castle itself which is very cool. The museums are right there with you.
Internet was not free - for the price you pay it should be included. Breakfast is 28 Euros if you do not pay in advance and not worth that price. You are on the Buda side of the river even though it is listed on Booking.com as being in Pest. Walks to Pest will be minimum 20 minutes - public transport is easy though.
The hotel is in a fantastic location , with probably the best views of The City and river. The staff were very friendly and helpful , if they couldn't answer a question they soon found out the answer for you. Nothing was to much trouble . I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Budapest .
There is nothing about Budapest or the hotel I didn't like .
The location and the view over Danube.
Three different staff didn't manage to clarify the parking regulations around the area. They also gave me a ticket that was supposed to be some kind of discount for parking but it didn't work and they didn't know why.
Friendly & courteous staff, especially Mr. Thompson at reception.
All was good.
