Ciutat espectacular, a un preu molt raonable. Molt ben integrada amb el Danubi, hi ha coses per visitar a banda i banda del riu. Molt bona xarxa de transport públic, sobretot tramvies i autobusos. El metro només adaptada la linia 3 i 4, 1 i 2 amb escales. Molta història concentrada en una ciutat. Recomano fer el tour de la segona guerra mundial. També menjar chimney cakes com si no hi hagués demà, així com Langos i goulash.

És una ciutat acollidora, amb força llocs per visitar com Mont Gelert, el parlament, el palau reial, els ponts, el mercat etc. també té molt lloc per fer un pastís, com el café New York o Café Gerbeaud.
