The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a bit small. The breakfast is fine. The location is great for us, as it's ten minutes walk from my elderly stepfather's flat.
The pool is fantastic, staff helpful, friendly and professional and hotel was good value for money.
One day my room was not cleaned, maybe an oversight. The dining room has no doors and from 6.45 the noise kept a light sleeper like myself awake, the noise carries down both corridors on each side of the room and can be heard by everyone on the first floor.
The Olympic size pool. I swam and swam!! Also staff were sensationally helpful and nice and often entertaining. One fellow told us about a SUPER restaurant just down the street - Foldes Jozsi - it was fabulous and the waiter Oliver made us feel very special. But I digress..... The hotel location was very good if you like to walk
The shower was teeny and it was impossible to not get water all over the floor. Parking was odd and we immediately got a parking ticket when we pulled up to check-in. Room was small but fine for a couple of nights
Friendly and helpful staff Good breakfast
poor airconditioning in the room,
Staff were very very helpful
Ideal Connection of public pool and hotel where u can go barefeet down to pool. Not far from Nyugati train stationo-nly 2 bus stops/291 and others/.Great for low price facilities smallesh but all is there. When they build this historical now renovated building traffic was not a problem,.Now it is but its not so busy street.I Will came again.
Nearby Lukacs spa is not Worth 10 euro .2 pools u have gratis with accomodation and sit in a cubicle with bath tub warm thermal water with old guys believing its good for Health.nearby spas are better or much better than that..Hotel and pools are ok
Swimming pools are awesome
The lady at the reception was courteous and helpful :).
The gentleman at reception was unhelpful and a little unfriendly :(.
The pool, the location and the best staff in the world.
Great pool! Staff r super friendly. Location good, room clean. ESP recommend room 201. It has two windows and pool view. Pool clean and not crowded. Breakfast is good. Nothing fancy but had fresh fruit and yoghurt, plus to the regular stuff.
Weak wifi in corner room. But all pool area covered with wifi tho!
Staff, location, swimming pool
Very small room, noisy bed, old bathroom, breakfest without vegetables
Fair accomodation with pool included in price. Good WiFi.
Awesome big pool; convenient location, close to public transit, but not on a busy street; friendly and helpful reception personnel; breakfast with a view of the pool
The room I got had a locked door connecting with adjacent room, and you could hear every little thing through that. If you want less noise, try to get a room without a side door.
The pool was great, but the staff was even greater, very kindly, always smiling and ready to help us. Easy access to metro within a little walk, and lots of restaurants nearby.
The breakfast could use an upgrade, the selection was poorly.
We have been in Budapest three times in Formula One for a week, two of the times we have been in this hotel which we think has great staff, great breakfast and nice swimming pool .It is easy to get everywhere from there if you buy a bus , tram, metro card. We will take this hotel again the next trip. F1 fans from Finland
We stayed just one night in this hotel. Nice staff and good location. Also the breakfast was good for that prixe. The olympic swimming pool in front of the hotel is public and costs ~10€/day/person but for the hotelguests for free! The "refreshing-party" after the long walking tour on a very hot summer day in the city was just amazing.
Small rooms and the poor cleanliness espacially in the shower made our stay uncomfortable. There was also no hairdryer in the bathroom. The walls were not sound-proof so you could hear the most of the time the neighbours even when they were walking on the corridor. If you are looking for quiet and more quality then it is better you look for another hotel. Thank you!
This hotel is strategically positioned to gain access to any of the sites in Budapest. It is simple but adequate, The staff were extremely friendly and spoke multiple languages well..
Holes in towels
pool very big, but did not use it becasue we had a city break...so we visited Budapest all day staff very friendly and helpful nu parking taxes in weekend in front of the hotel good location clean
small rooms small bathroom no smoker lounge...you can smoke and drink your coffe in the morning just in front of the hotel.Front of the hotel which looks horrible...it needs some renovation works breakfast really poor
The hotel is clean and bright, the staff very helpful and understanding and they eventually refunded us (no arguments, just took a while). Pool is massive (when available). This would be a great budget hotel if you are staying for a short duration.
Room extremely small - so small not even space to put your suitcase, or anywhere for toiletries in the bathroom. Air-con noisy and ineffectual. Shower prone to flooding and beds really uncomfortable.
Sport chanel on TV with Mundial was absent
Hotel is relatively basic but has an Olimpic size swimming pool and a nice recreation area of its own. Located in a quiet are of Buda almost on the river bank with amazing panoramic views. Rooms are small but tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but fresh and refreshing. The best feature of this hotel is its staff. Here you can't go wrong by giving them a full 5 star rating. Especially helpfull, professional and friendly a young reception manager Mercedesz. Have any issues at all with directions and transportation? Need a sightseeing advice? Ask her and all your problems disappear as you speak with her. Frankly, I personally believe that she is capable of managing customer relations in any 5 star international level hotel. But as long as she is with Csaszar the guests are in good hands. Well done.
Nothing to report.
Noisy street under the window of the room.
