In a pedestrian street with cafés and bars, Hotel Erzsebet City Center is only a few steps from the Vaci utca shopping street and the Great Market Hall.
Score from 621 reviews Very good
This property is located in the Pest side, in the heart of the city at Blaha Lujza square, which is the business and shopping center of the city. The smoke-free Ibis Budapest City features free Wi-Fi....
Score from 303 reviews Very good
The Mercure Budapest Korona is at the pedestrian Main Street and the Kálvin Square Metro Station, less than half a mile from the Danube, and close to the Gellért Spa and the Váci utca shopping street....
Score from 1076 reviews Good
This modern inn is located in the heart of Budapest, only a 2-minute walk from the National Museum and Deak Ferenc ter Subway Station. The air conditioned apartments offer free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1649 reviews Wonderful
Very close to a Metro stop . Great restaurants a stones throw away... Good staff at the desk somewhat informed ...
Maid service sure could have been better.... bed thrown together .. glasses not cleaned .... bed not changed for 6 nights ..
Friendly and accommodating staff, large double room, good breakfast, and very clean (if plain) rooms. We prefer to stay out of major tourist areas so this property was perfect for us; 15 minute walk to town center but quiet area.
There was kind of a sterile feel; no decorations or homey touches. There is a 24 hour room service claim; when we attempted to order at 11pm we were directed to the bar and the only food options were instant boxed meals. They tasted fine but not what we expected.
Location Comfort of bed, bedding and pillow Value for money
Small bathroom No plug near the mirror, in fact there was only 1 plug in the room
Lovely room Comfortable bed Very helpful staff
very good and central location, just a few minutes walk from the City Center and the Danube, rooms were clean and simple, staff helpful, all in all a pleasant stay
small bathroom, the window cannot be opened in the rooms, the elevator worked improperly
Great location, rooms a bit larger than Ibis standard. Very good value for money.
A bit of a smell in the room. The staff did not seem very knowledgable about the city when asked for info.
Location. Wifi in the room.
The location, the wifi
Too noisy cleaners standing outside the room door gossipping and loughing!! They have to knock the door in order to get in!!!!
Clean and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Extremely well located. Great value for money.
Desperately needs a soft drinks and water dispenser on every floor or an empty mini fridge in the room even if at an extra charge.
Centrally located with paid parking in the bldg if one prefers to avoid the hourly parking fees.
1) housekeeper somehow one day forgot to replace fresh towels, and one day we were without any towel for the bathroom, calling reception that evening he denied to bring us the freshMiklosiceva 14, 1000 Ljubljana towels in the room excusing that he was alone on the duty that evening (one single staff on duty for the whole hotel!!!)
The location is good. It is near the subway station M3 and M4. A lot of restaurants are near the hotel.
The room is small, and the bed is also very small. During midnight, someone smoked, and stimulated the fire alarm. Everyone ran out of the room and stood on the street. The hotel just left all customers outside, and no one told us what was happening after about 15mins. It was not the hotel's fault, but at least the hotel should do something when everyone was standing outside in the midnight.
Very good location
No safe in the room
Staff has been really helpful and friendly. Beds were soft and clean. And the hotel located on a quiet street close to the major sights of the city.
Location Clean hotel breakfast
Uncomfortable bed Small bathroom Noisy room next to the elevator
Good location, clean and good price
Location is perfect.
Bathroom was very small.
Location, Breakfast and comfort of room.
good position near to restaurants
noise on the low floors
It is on a famous and thus safe street full of restaurants with prices that are okay and virtually at the door of the metro station kalvin ter which is quite a good one to change lines and close to nepliget. Beds may feel uncomfortable when you first use them but you wont want to get out of them in the morning:) quiet though on the street. Smooth internet connection. It was definitely a value for money stay
When i got my room at noon there were hairs on the bathroom floor, in the sink and on the toilet. Plus it was clear that one of the pillows was used by a woman as there was some mascara stain on it and the table was a lottle bit dusty. When i warned them they quickly came ans tried to reclean though there were still some hairs on different places for which i didnt want to re-warn as the two maids coming to my room for this didnt know english or french or turkish, which i find weird for such a popular hotel. But the linens and towels were really clean except for thar mascara thing. Still somehow i dont give a 'poor' to the cleaning but a 'fair.' Additonally there was no terrace/balcony/yard to smoke or to relax on a summer day.
center location, helpful staff, nice breakfast
old design, maybe 20 years old, should be refurbished, WiFi requires re-connection
Close to the metro and easy to get to places like west end on a wet day. The staff were very helpful at the hotel.
A basic breakfast could be included in the rate
I liked the bed, the location - good place in center of the city, with good transportation
mini bar and electric kettle would be an advantage
location, value for money. metro and restaurants are just nearby the hotel.
water pressure is weak. door and wall are thin so occasionally you will hear noise from outside the door. wifi is hard to use . every time you have to insert password again before using.
Excellent street, couldn't be better situated. Every type of public transport at the door (Kalvin ter). Nice room, great staff. Honest exchange rate, they simply follow the official value every day. For the price, it would be very difficult to do it any better!
Micro bath towels, no hands towel. Ridiculously overpriced breakfast.
