Room amenities and location.

Room wasn't cleaned.

Almost everything was great.

The only annoying thing - WiFi - it works great but requires additional input of username and password. For notebooks it's ok - but very inconvenient for smartphones. So, the way it works is obsolete.

Great rooms/appartment located 50 metres from Andrassi ut and its architecture, shops, cafes and generally "hip" culture . and 150 metres from metro station which transports you to Deak Square with its city centre attractions or Heroes Square and the Galleries, Schezeny Baths and zoo within 5 minutes- yet the rooms are so quiet. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean, well-decorated and nicely furnished with a touch of style. Good eating-places (Menza) and cafes (Ecocafe) nearby.

Nothing. I would maybe recommend finding breakfast in one of the nearby cafes if you want to sample the atmosphere- very good value when we were there. We went to the Ecocafe 100m round the corner on Andrassi.

Tasefully designed, spacious and newly decorated classic suite. Hotel's position is excellent - equidistant from the city centre and river in one direction and out to the parks and galleries in the other. Charming and helpful staff.

Breakfast seemed a bit basic and lacking in choice for the price. But a very good ecocafe round the corner for an alternative.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean, large and quiet. Very good location.

The room with kitchen was spacious and the inside garden insured you of a good night sleep (with no street noises)

You had to pay extra for everything. If you wanted to use a teabag from your room that costed you 2 euro's! Also the breakfast (not included in the room) was bad value for money. I ended up having breakfast in de coffeeplace at the corner: twice as good food for half the price

This wonderful hotel could not have been better in any way. The location was excellent – central but quiet and very near the excellent easy metro. The building Izabella is an old house built in 1885 but completely redone inside to make an attractive hotel. The standard booking is for a small apartment of 3 rooms. There is a living room, one end of which is a kitchen and a bedroom with a huge bed and a bathroom. We were worried that the bed would be too small as we often chose two singles to ensure better sleep. We need not have worried the bed was massive and comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could possibly want to use (including salt and pepper and sugar and a dish cloth and washing up sponge) and we did cook the occasional simple meal. There was a two ring hob and microwave but no oven. There was a kettle and toaster, pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There was also an automatic (clothes) washing machine but no dishwasher. The sitting room had a table and four chairs and a very comfortable sofa. There was a good telly which got the BBC news channel and a DVD player and music player. Both the sitting room and bedroom had huge windows overlooking the central garden courtyard. The bathroom had a loo, a sink and a bath with shower. The shower was excellent. Soap and shampoo were provided and a hair dryer. There was ample storage space and a safe. On arrival there was an excellent provision of mini bar items which we asked to be removed, as there was a small corner shop out the front door to the right and a bigger supermarket out the door to the left- (and then first left a small way up Andrassy Ut, on the left). Breakfast was available but, being antisocial at that time of day, we did our own and relished the ability to do this. Room service included providing an evening meal if requested. The service was wonderful. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and spoke excellent English.

I cannot find any faults or dislikes

The staff was exceptionally helpful. They answered all our questions and also offered helpful tips on how to get around etc... We really enjoyed our stay at mamaison!!

We liked everything about Mamaison Izabella - the lovely apartment, fantastic staff, and great location. It really was the perfect base for exploring beautiful Budapest.

Everything - the location was perfect for us as only walking distance (about 10 min) from Nyugati train station where trains arrive from the airport. It was also right next to main shopping streets and near enough to the old town with all the attractions for us to walk everywhere. The room proved to be a suite with a living room and a bedroom. Within the living room there was a dining area complete with a dining table and chairs, a sitting area with a sofa and a coffee table and a kitchenette equipped with anything the most discerning traveler might need - from kettle and fridge to coffee-maker, grill and crockery and cutlery. The accommodation was extremely spacious and light, neutrally decorated in a contemporary style and spotlessly clean. There were 2 balconies in the suite. The accommodation was always very quiet, even though the road could be quite busy during the day. As the temperature was in excess of 30c the air conditioning was very useful. There was loads of storage (2 wardrobes), a safe and very reliable wifi connection in the suite. Also, there were free laundry facilities available in the basement (you only needed to buy detergent at reception or bring your own). We have never felt so comfortable and at home in a hotel. The staff were very friendly and polite, spoke perfect English and could not do enough for us. We feel at £50 a night the hotel was excellent value for money and greatly contributed to our overall fantastic experience of Budapest. Recommended!!

The location is very convenient for city visit. Room facilities are better than expected, very spacous and clean. Fully equipped rooms. Very friendly hotel staff. Wish we can stay longer!!

Extreme flexibility of the staff (check in happened at 1am!!!)

I have stayed twice at Mamaison Izabella and once at Mamaison Andrassy. The first time was at Izabella for 10 days and had a king size room (not bed) with my Hungarian girlfriend and I still dream of that trip. Unfortunately, I am no longer with her and have since not managed to find another Hungarian girl as good to replace her (all or nothing). I didn't like the small room at Andrassy and Izabella. I will definitely be going back again soon but hopefully will be staying once again in the king size room at Izabella facing the street. I love Mamaison Izabella if only I can afford the king size room.

Hello beautiful people, What a color so cozy of the room. We loved it! And they have complete accessories. Nice really!

I and my friend baby, we did like the room, but we were upset becoz we extended a day more, and when we went back the night after, they didn't fix the bed, The rest room was as it is as we had left. I am used with the other hotels as be cleaned while we're out. Thank you and I know you have a lot,lot more splendid offers. God bless Booking.com

Friendly staff, excellent location -- I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted a hotel near to the centre of Budapest. I arrived in Budapest earlier than expected and the staff where helpful and accommodating. Most highly recommended. Good value for money as well!

Nothing to complain about.

Its a very nice place. The staff was very helpfull, the appartments are just very good and the patio is great. I defitely recommend that place. Its also located just few steops from the Andracy ut. and on walking disance to Oktogon square. There is a parking in the hotel, but we used the outside public parking slots as during the weekend there is no tax.

The hotel is nicely located if you are interested in sightseeing in Budapest. Andrassy street is half a block away and from there you can go to City Park/Hero's Square or the other direction towards the Danube. The hotel staff speaks English and were very friendly and helpful. I parked my car in the hotel parking lot, which is directly under the hotel.

The staff was so professional and friendly at the same time, always willing to help out, in a friendly and efficient way! They offered us an upgraded room with no extra charge - actually I should no longer speak of a room, since it was a suite! What a great experience I had, in such a great city, together with the most beautiful, sweet and lovable girl on my side! Indeed it was a great trip!
