The city was very walkable, although the transport system was excellent being cheap and very frequent. the main sites were well presented and gave a good flavour of the country. The Parliament should receive a special mention along with the main museum. |

The location is great and the room was spacious. Street noise was noticeable and the bed also creaked so it wasn't that quiet. |

This is a lovely hotel, excellent location and ample breakfast. Everything is sparkling clean and the staff are brilliant-very helpful, charming and speak good English. An oasis of calm. I loved it. |

The staff was unbelievable courteous and helpful. The location of the hotel was very accommodating for city tours, sites, recreation, etc. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were both beautiful and spacious. Overall, we had a very positive experience staying at the Inn Side Hotel Kalvin House, and I have already recommended the hotel to friends traveling to Budapest. The breakfast was lacking. Other than that, the only downfall was that every single television channel was in Hungarian, so any international travelers looking to unwind in front of the tube before going to sleep will be let down. |

Good location next to the Market and 10 minute walk to Vaci Utca. The staff was very helpful responding to our concerns about how hot our non ac room was by sending 2 fans to our room. Room was large including a baby grand piano (that needed tuning). Good to have a lift, breakfeast was a little spartan, water would have been nice at breakfeast. Room was terribly hot, paper thin pillows, could have done a little more thorough job vacuuming, sit down shower was difficult to use, no ac. |

The staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. Plenty of space in our room. I would have liked the piano to be in tune! |

Staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect (2 min. walk to great market hall, danube, metro station and vaci ut) the building/rooms are perfect for those having seen enough standard rooms without any flair or a bit of history. Rooms do not have aircondition. |

The room was available when we got there at 12. Large rooms. Hotel was located very near centrum. Toilet and shower didn't work! The wasn't any water coming from the lines in our room, hotel staff couldnt fix it and they succested that we would use the next room in shower and wc needs. We would had had to walk with towels in the public while changing the rooms. Rooms had no airconditioning and they were very hot. Breakfeast was therrible, lactoce milk and orrange juice was the cheapest one, only the color matched orangejuice. Price/value=BAD |

Staff was very kind and efficient, breakfast was very good, location excellent, rooms very interesting and look really gorgeous and unique. Price not too bad considering all this. The beds made terrible noise every time you moved. A little bit more of vacuuming the carpets might be good. |

Hotel was easy to find, excellant value for money, near lots of bars and restaurants, and a very short walk to the metro and tram stops. The Hotel rooms were very large and clean and the staff very helpful with sightseeing/map reading. If we go back to beautiful Budapest then we will without a doubt stay here again. |
