Large, airy rooms. Time to talk to the very helpful staff.

The Location is perfect: close to the airport metro, the markethall around the corner, nice restaurants, shopping. Nice big rooms. WLAN free. Highliy recommendable.

The cleanliness. The positive attitudes of the staff and their helpfulness. This is an ideal place to stay if you're on a tight budget. The five young ladies run a very good place to stay. Few frills but a good travel experience!

Without air conditioning the room was stuffy even in May. For security reasons we didn't like to open the door to the balcony to let in cool air while we slept.

I had very nice room with romantic view on roofs of Budapest. Perfect value of comfort and money.High-speed wifi. Friendly staff.

Room a good size - for a city hotel - with plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. Breakfast was adequate, if unexciting Reception was efficient and friendly Location: Hotel is close to a transport hub, and two areas full of reasonably priced restaurants & bars. It was easy to walk to the river.

Front door & marquee scruffy & uninviting It was necessary to ring a bell and wait outside for the door to be unlocked remotely (but usually prompt). Street is probably safe, but it is uninviting. There are no public rooms, bar or restaurant apart from the breakfast room.

The attention and courtesy of the staff. The loalition and the cost benefit the hotel.

I liked the staff and the interior of the room. Also, the location is really great, right in the middle of the city with a 5 minute walk to the next tram or metro station. Breakfast was very nice, and got refilled even if it was close to the official "end time" for the breakfast. Wireless internet worked well for us.

The only drawback I can see, was that there's no ac in the rooms. It was already quite warm, so I slept with open windows, to get the room a bit colder.

Polite and remarkably helpful staff. Friendly and happy atmosphere! Strategically located, city's central shopping streets are a 10 min stroll. Artistic atmosphere on nearby streets. Definitely an ideal place to relax, work, meet with friends and wonder around! Many thanx to all of the staff making my stay easy and enjoyable!

blanket too short very old furniture is not quiet a hotel... but a big old house, with apartments, transformed into a hotel.

Excellent location, in the center and near the metro station and Central Market, quiet street. We have big, comfortable room on the fourth floor with romantic vew on the tile roofs of nearby buildings.

Excellent central location, helpful staff, lovely bright room, quiet. Plus the wifi worked in the room (except occasionally at peak times).

The room was very spacious, clean and had huge windows that let in lots of light. It was very quiet, in an excellent location to get to many tourist attractions, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again and would tell my friends to stay there also.

Location was excellent, staff very friendly, the rooms were absolutely beautifal, will be definately staying here again when I return to Budapest.

Wifi can occasionally cut out, but not a problem as only using Internet for short durations.

Really nice room, good size, clean with comfortable bed. Nice modern bathroom with both a shower and bath. The breakfast was included and they had a good spread. A free entry to one of four Hungarian Baths was included with the booking which was great. Staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was fantastic.

Location in city. Walking distance to almost everything.

Excellent location and room's design. Staff was friendly but be careful with them: you can fall in love with one girl from reception.

There were huge problems with wireless Internet connection.

Excellent location close to the Danube. Good value for money - got a suite for the price of a double room in other hotels. Close to shops, public transport and within easy walking distance of tourist sites. Room was really clean and breakfast was good. Hotel organised pick up from airport. Staff were extremely helpful both during our stay and beforehand, booking us a restaurant for New Year's Eve prior to our arrival. It isn't a luxury hotel but it is good value for money.

Price & location

Location was noisy late at night. We had our window closed in our third floor room but still loud, however it was Fri & Sat night.

The hotel was as expected with the lovely wood work, for which I selected the hotel. The breakfast was nice and filling to start the day with. The free passes to the thermal bath was a treat as well, as else we might have not got to know about the same and might have missed it. Since the airport is very far from the city, the service provided by te hotel for arranging cabs for pick up is very much appreciated(optional and cost effective).

most of the receptionists were very helpful, except one, whom we had approached for some information. Was an exceptionally rude person. Due to the wood work, the floors creak, so if any one person wakes up and walks, usually all wake up(but this was a known fact before I chose the hotel)

Beautiful rooms with warm antique furniture, high ceilings, and wood floors

The shower head was hand-held only, you couldn't hang it on the wall. This was annoying (and true of all 3 of our rooms). They need to install hooks for the shower head.
