Hotel Klastrom  

Nice long corridors, former monastery, nice atmosphere, very good location right in the historical city centre near the thermal spa (only across the bridge). Nice church included in the buildings of the hotel complex.

Unreliable wifi connection.

The hotel provides very nice rooms you will want to go back again. A baroque library, which is situated in the hotel, provides very interesting view into the convent history, original design and a specific charm of the place. Value provided for the booking.com price is very good when considering the hotel is situated 5 minutes far from Gyor spa with 37-degree (Celsius) water pools and belongs to the city centre. The fact this hotel hosted John Paul II is on top of the interesting place you can visit.

Beautiful old building, great location

The bed was small and not very comfortable.

The location in the centre of the city, beautiful historical building, good breakfast.

Attic rooms too small and not so beautiful like the rest of the rooms.

Some aspects of the room were simply tacky: the sofa was covered with unpleasant stains; the walls were covered with unremedied scuff marks; cheap out of place furniture mingled with and spoiled the character of the room.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms, as a converted monastery it was a peaceful hotel (except for the church bells at 7.00 AM!!), well decorated, ideal location for old town, good value for money and recommended. Lots of character.

The locatie of the hotel is excellent, in the middle of the old town. Also, the looks of the hotel weten nice. Breakfast buffet was nice.

The bathroom facilities wereld a bit outdated.

The people at the front desk were very helpful. The room was comfortable and furnished more like a home than like a soulless sterile hotel.

The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. They speak English fluent and there where no problems at all at check in. The "young lady" at the bar/restaurant where very helpful and nice. The hotel is an old cloister and we both loved the building. The room where small but it didn’t matter! The inner garden where nice to sit in and have something to drink…

Hotel is located in an interesting, atmospheric building. Very convenient for sighseeing, shopping, etc. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fine.

The room fittings were a bit worn - maybe a renovation is due?

The room was nice, clean and confortable. The location is excellent. And the staff was exceptionally nice.

We enjoyed the hotel very much hence we returned a couple weeks later It was a perfect location and very quiet, family oriented and what we needed, relaxing after lots of traveling Breakfast included was majestic, traditional hungarian with other choices as well
