Location could not be better. There's a bus across the street that takes you to Buda castle district. The principal metro station is around the corner and from there you can go anywhere. The metro is extremely efficient in Budapest .Our room was very comfortable and bathroom large with both tub and separate shower. The Adrian Bar is very lively and reasonably priced. My wife and I enjoyed our 7 days there very much. We know Budapest quite well, and have stayed in many hotels there. We would highly recommend the Meridien and would stay there again. The restaurant Le Bourbon is very expensive. The staff helpful and efficient--not stuffy at all. The food is good, but not exceptional. The buffet breakfast is too expensive and we did not eat there |

The convenience to the city centre, the design of the hotel and the size of the rooms. The housekeeping let the hotel down. We were staying in an executive suite and complained to "Judit". Our dressing gowns were left in a heap on the lounge and never (never) hung up, our replacement towels were thrown into the bathroom, our bed was turned down and water provided once only (we were there for 4 nights), toiletries were never replaced and had to be requested. Judit tried to make amends by sending up some cake - whilst the effort was commendable we would have preferred to have our kept to 5 star standard, even after the complaint the housekeeping did not improve. |

Good breakfast, and service minded personnel Yes, it was very noisy, a lot of traffic and vibrations, probably from the underground, in my first room. However, they instantly arranged for a room change for me to my satisfaction. I would recommend using the higher level floors. |

Right in the centre, walking distance, the sports facilities is good. Breakfast of Euro 27,- is too expensive. I took breakfast outside of the hotel; right across the hotel there is a good coffee heaven affiliate. Saved Euro 20,- per breakfast. |

Hotel in good position for visiting tourist attractions and the shops, restaurants etc. Room was large and fairly well appointed. Discovered beetles in our room after 3rd night. We were moved into alternative accommodation after drawing the matter to management's attention. From the reaction of the staff it was apparent that they knew of this problem as they went straight to the source of the problem behind the bed. Management apologised but did not offer any refund. This is unacceptable in a quality hotel like this. Any help you can give in resolving this would be appreciated. Brakfasts were not that good especially the 'hot' buffet which was always cold. |

Perfect location, excellent service, optimal value for money. If you go to Budapest for business, this is your best option. Elegant, sober (by Hungarian standards...), and comfortable. The Kempinsky next door, by contrast, is an architectural monstruosity. From Le Meridien, you're a walking distance from the Danube, the Andrassy Avenue, as well as(something that was important to me) the synagogue and the kosher restaurant. There is also a very nice SPA which for me is a must when I travel (even though the pool is small --if you really want to do laps, better go at 6:30 am, which I did). If I go to Budapest again, this is where I'll book. |

This is a very fine luxury hotel, at the very best location to access all parts of the city, by whatever means of transport you choose. |

The room is spacious and beautiful. Best shower anywhere. Unknowing to me, breakfast was not included in the room rate and I thought that the price for breakfast was expensive. Also, internet service is expensive. |

Excellent location. We got a really good rate of 117 Euros per night and so was excellent Value-for-money It did not have all the amenities expected of a 5-star hotel. The bathroom had a see-through door! |

The staff was very helpful and friendly; the room itself was clean, cosy and spacious; their breakfast is a good start for your day. The hotel is located on the Pest side but within walking distance from the Donau, the bridges and the main points to go and explore Budapest. Another thing is that there's a metro station where the 3 lines stop when you walk out of the hotel. |

The hotel has a very good location, helpful and polite staff, elegant furniture, restful atmosphere. We have been offered a deluxe room for the price of a superior one. |

Behind its distinguished façade, located in the heart of Budapest, the old Grand Hotel Royal has been transformed into the superb, modern Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal. |
This hotel with its striking modern architecture - a symbol of modern Budapest - is situated in the centre of the financial and shopping district, only a few steps from the Danube. |
