The room was beautiful and in a perfect location. The king bed was very comfortable and the heated floors in the bathroom was perfect. I was able to check in a few hours early, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Hands down an amazing hotel with fantastic staff and lovation!
Noise in the room and the design of the hotel.
Location is very good! Vaci street is just in 1 minute to walk, central metro station is here, cafes , shops, everything is just so close.
It's suppused to be a five star hotel, but it's not!!! From four nights we stayed there we had to ask everyday to clean up our room, even if we put a sign on the door to clean it !!! The room was ok, nothing special. But shower wasnt ok. Or you have to wash yourself and wet your hair , coz there was only one shower head that goes from the wall; or you can take bath, where water or too cold or too hot((( it's not a bad hotel, but it's just not five star level, so you should keep it in mind
Location, breakfast, staff, atmosphere everything
Cold rooms !spa very small!
Free breakfast delivered at the room (once included in the room rate).
Check-in process: treat us as second hand pieces, as non "VIP" to justify not having a room ready before standard check-in time! Assigned a poor room for the first day of stay. Changed room after talking with different front office team next day... Had to have patience! Ended up ok, but not as expected when dealing with a 5* Hotel.
Central location Welcome and kindness of people. Spa and Gym equipment Breakfast
Really not much but a few details. Empty hot drink pot in lobby. Employees have a tendency to clean your table a bit too early during breakfast
Location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast Central Position
-Elevator inscription inside total missing. -Parking just with the Valet at the neighbors and expensive. -The bathrobe was old and drilled. -Sauna was wery small with dampness and dirthy. -The personal was poorly trained .
The central location is great- so much within walking distance. The hop on hop off bus stop outside the door ! Our room had a great view and was of a high standard. Staff were very helpful. An interesting and comfortable bar.
Nothing - albeit the price of breakfast (as in most 5* hotels far too high). No fear Starbucks is not far away. But why not provide the same service.
Room is huge Comfort beds Nice lobby
Excellent location, quite large&comfortable rooms, free wifi, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
- big room - good shower - perfect location to visit Budapest
- you had to ask Reception for a new wifi password every day (even though it was free)
The beds were really comfy, great pillows! Service was excellent. Staff were terrific and always plenty of them on hand. Had air con trouble but when I reported it the fix it men were there in five minutes and they did fix it. All in all a lovely clean and well equipped hotel. Brilliant location for the hop on hop off bus trip too. Starts right outside the hotel!
We had to ask for the tea and coffee to be replenished but when we asked it was sorted quickly.
The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel is good. The rooms are quite large.
Parking is not free! Expect a bill for parking when you check out. I took a smoking room but there was no ash tray thez did send one up but it took almost 30 minutes! There were coffee facilities but the coffee quality was poor, no brown suger no milk! The shower was too hot or too cold and the shower head had not been cleaned it was not working properly the same was true of the shower in the bath. When I wanted to dry my hair the hear dryer was good but no plug in the bathroom so I culdnt see my hear nor in the living room. For the price as a 5 star hotel it is not worth it. I expect a lot more and especially attention to detail.
Le Meridien Budapest is like the rest of the Le Merien chain an excellent hotel for location, service, cost, etc. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for business or pleasure and the ambience is spectacular. The staff was always extremely gracious and helpful with whatever requests were made. The Breakfast is superior and one which should be experienced by one and all. Chet Perry, Barrington
The only issue whic I experienced was the internet connection which could only be reach "automatically" by room number / name sign in on the 1st of a 3 day stay. Thereafter, I needed to collect a series of "Visitor Vouchers" to sign in with special codes. It required several vouchers each day for sign in. Once connected, the Internet worked well. (The hotel knew they had the problem which they said was temporary and they were working on it.)
Our group of women needed a nice place for a couple of nights to see and drink in beautiful Budapest. The hotel was perfect. Location. Rooms. Staff. All. Bravo!
Breakfast for 25eu was too steep. We opted for the lovely Gerbaud cafe down the street and were really happy.
Helpful reception staff
Breakfasts poor both in terms of quality and value for money
Good central location. Large, comfortable room Organised taxi pick up from airport
Breakfast was rather expensive.
The lobby is nice, modern with good spaces to sit and chill. Even the bar is nice. Nice classy room, very clean.Excellent the bathroom. Excellent location, it is situated in the city center a d it is very close to the river as well. The stuff is really kind and helpful
The spa is awful, small suanas and small and ugly steamed room. The bar service must be reviewed, we asked for a meal and we got two different, the service was slow as well.
In general , all Ok.
Breakfast is a little bit poor with no great choices. Staff is slow in serving & cleaning.
Central location, welcome from reception and lounge bar staff on late evening arrival and ambience of Le Meridien; bedroom comfort and decor; breakfast room, food and staff.
Sofa bed for adult daughter, devan bed provided for 2nd and 3rd nights also not comfortable.Request for 3 single beds confirmed would be available by email, told when checking out that 3 single beds never provided!
Le Meridien central location A good client service
