The washrooms were not very clean. The apartment is not very clean either
Excellent Location in the centre, within walking distance of everything. Was very clean and spacious!
Found it very hard to find but is a great hidden treasure!
The location; the large apartment.
We spent only one night there and the apartment was exactly what we needed. Very close to the subway and when we returned from the center we came back on foot. The apartment is big and we found a parking place just in front of the hotel and as it was Sunday it was free. I think it is a very good apartment if you are travelling with kids. We payed by credit card and the staff was very proficient in English and ready to help.
It is more a hotel to sleep in for a few nights if you want to visit the city (our case) and it's true it has no particular charm and most of the furniture is IKEA but for us it was ok.
Fantastic: lokalization, atmospher, pubs/restaurant etc. arround!
Church/rathaus (?) clock every 15min - even at night-time. But I know that owner/personel can't solve the problem...
Location, the size of the apartment for 2 persons, the personal, the bed is really good
The sofa in the apartment was dirty, and the shower was broken
Great place, I'll keep coming back
Big kitchen but hardly any kitchen wares. No big problem, I like eating out
Professional response to booking with all the details and instructions needed for a pleasant stay. Clean, calm and central.
One bedroom was very small compared to the large living room.
Great place, nice apartment, responsive people. The place wasn't ready in time because of some delay with a previous tenant and they immediately offered me another apartment to get by. Absolutely recommend it.
The only issue is the need to pick up a key in one place and then go to another. It is very close but when you have luggage, it's a small inconvenience.
Room has everything a traveller needs.
Difficult to find address. Pay attention to street number. Sofa bed is not that comfortable.
lots of space excellent staff, who spoke English well no problem in getting two sets of keys fully equipped cleanliness a very nice building with a lift fair location (close to beautiful Andrassy street)
room limited Wi-Fi air conditioning in 2 out of 3 rooms apartment fitted for 6 people (we travelled in 4), but only one of the beds was double (two were folding couches, so my not-couple friends were uncomfortable and slept separately)
The location is excellent.
Not great if you travel by car. The apartment was nothing like the images of the interiors advertised. The room is only available at 15:00PM but you need to check out at 11:00 AM.
Very close of the Opera, close to the St Stephan Cathedral and Hero Square. Quite street, I liked the kitchen facilities,TV, AC, WI-FI ok, elevator Candy store accross the street, they have very goog chocolate cakes. There was public parking in front of the building, with a fee
No view, but quite area. Is no luxury, but the apartment was decent and pretty clean. Is not quite a hotel, so they charge extra if you want them to clean the room durring your staying
Very good location. Right opposite a candy store :-))
This apartment is in a great location in the city. There were plenty of restaurants, pubs, etc around. It is easy to find. There is an elevator/lift to help with bags. The kids loved the courtyard with the turtles. It was quiet for being in an apt complex in the city. The wifi was excellent once we figured out how to get it all plugged in and turned on.
There were a lot of little problems that occurred. But, once we got a hold of the staff, they were more than willing to fix most of the problems. The biggest issue was that we did not realize (and the apt manager says it is booking.com's fault that they don't have a space to explain this on the info) this is an apt and these people are apt managers. They are not a hotel. So, even though it says daily maid service, there was not. They did provide it once for us since we complained. But, knowing that in advance not to throw your towels on the floor would have been helpful. They also did not give us a welcome packet (as they said they should have later) which would have been helpful to know where the trash goes and other helpful information. This is something they said they will improve. We did not know we would be in a separate location, away from the staff. We did not have a phone to call so we had to send emails. We also didn't realize the sauna and fitness room would be several blocks away. There was no soaps, shampoos, kitchen towels, dishwasher soap, etc...so bring everything you need to live or there is a small shop across the way to buy it. Knowing these things in advance is very helpful to making your stay a great one. And if you have any problems, make the short walk down to the main building and complain. They will take care of you. We believe it is a good place to stay especially for the price, but again, just know these things in advance. We would stay there again.
- central location - well-planned and nice apartment - fully furnished kitchen
- the furniture was slightly dirty
Location Comfort Facilities
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and located near to everything so really suited our needs.
At first glance the apartment looked clean but the the floors where a bit grubby. The bath and shower curtain could have been better. The shower head was not suitable for people over 5' you'd get a pain in your back stooping though in fairness the pressure was good. The elderly man who checked us in was great although he had little English he tried and gave as good a service as he could. But the others we came across left a lot to be desired. There was a young woman on duty the next day who had no idea how to communicate with people or even pretend that she had any interest in helping with queries we had she'd rather go back to watching youtube or what ever but to top it all off upon checkout we where left standing in reception for well over ten minutes while a young male receptionist refused to acknowledge us and rather have a full blown conversation on his mobile phone. He only raised his eyes after one of the group blew a fuse and even at that he looked annoyed that he was disturbed. We asked if there was anywhere we could leave our luggage and "chatter box" who at this stage had already gone back to his very important call just pointed in the general direction of a corner grunting. Horrible behaviour. This level of customer service really let your place down and really annoyed us. If those two receptionists worked for me it wouldn't be long before they would be heading to join the unemployment line.
service was excellent. We forgot our wallet ( including bank cards and ID card). After one phonecall and email it was sent to our home very properly!! Thx a lot. Nice appartment in the centre of Budapest, excellent interior, quiet surrounding. Private parking garage ( only for small to medium size cars )
Bid hard to find place out, due no identification sign or name of hotel on the building.
The apartment was clean and centrally positioned in the city to make it a good place if you have limited time to explore. I would and have already have recommend Madison as a place to stay in Budapest.
Unfortunately the staff were not able to give much general advise on transportation. But to be fair, English is not their mother tongue and the info given did help in giving me a broad idea of reaching many of the local sights.
Wery helpfull manager czabo , what ewer you want , you got. Room is wery good but house kipping should be better cleaning.
The location was perfect, there was plenty of room in the apartment. Clean
The cooker was difficult to know when it was on or not. There was not tin opener for tins, many the basic things was missing in the kitchen. We had problem with front door opening. The staff could have been more helpful with informing us on main attraction, how to get around what to see etc.
