Beautiful building and great place in the centre.
We had to wait for somebody to welcome us at the reception for about 20 minutes. When we were finally taken up to the room, it was dirty, dusty, the whole shower was covered in toothpaste and the shower curtain was at least 2 years old and smelled.
The bedrooms overlooking the square have superb views. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.
Unattended kitchen cabinets with no order to storage of cups, dirty etc. Sink full of dirty utensils and bin overflowing for days.
The staff are very friendly. Location is good.WiFi is good.
Very dirty room with very old furniture and bedclothes. I advise to look for another variants.
I would never ever sleep again in this hotel.it s miserable and discusting inside the bed was not made before we arive,we had to buy stuffs for the bed to sleep... the staff of this hotel like 2 child in the kinder room i sleept here 2 years before, was not 4stars but it was good.... this rooms "hotel" should !!! be closed!!!! in emergency i will send my complaint to the sanitary authority and for all where i can send to send a feedback for this hotel... Thanx a lot i hope i use booking.com for another reservation too and it will never happen something like this !!!!!!!
Atmosphere of the apartment. Breakfast's Coupon for a cosy cafe.
Noise of the traffic
no so far from center
Staff was helpful, location (near the metro station)
Wifi doesn`t work Room was terrible but price wasn`t so big, dust everywhere, not recommended if u need comfortable accomondation...
Location is OK, close to train station Keleti PU. Right next to metro and tram station. 15 min. walk to city center. Staff was nice, perfect english, willing to help and answer the questions.
Even it is just cheap hostel, with simple rooms - that is no problem. But it has to be clean!!! It was not at all! Lot of hairs on the floor, dirty shower.Pillows were almost flat, bedclothes old - not fresh, small beds and totally uncomfortable.Common kitchen on 3rd floor was disgusting. When you use water or splash the toilet, there is terrible noise coming from the "whatever it is" (something for pumping water).Management of the hostel should read this feedbacks and do something for improvemets, but it seems like they don't read or don't want any more guests. We survived one night.....I would not go there anymore and I can not recommend to anyone.
The guesthouse is located right up the stairs from the metro Blaha Luzy Ter (40 min from airport via 1-bus and 2 metro lines) in a multi-story building with a historical character, many murals, cathedral ceilings, and a quiet courtyard. It's a short tram right to the center or a pleasant walk. The one staff member we dealt with was extremely courteous, very helpful, and spoke English. The rooms and hotel in general was beautiful, quiet, and spacious! There are ample, large sitting areas and great kitchens. Great for young and mature couples and people who want quiet and nice facilities. Would be really nice for long stays (we stayed only 2 nights).
The bed was Ikea uncomfortable with micro, almost flat pillows. There is a sleep-disturbing amount of street noise with sirens all night (wear ear plugs). Checkout is at 10:00.
Just needed to stay over the night. Is opposite blaha station. Have no complaints and the host was very helpful. The place has facilities to use such as washing machines and a fridge
The location is superb, a few minutes from local "ruin" pubs and the Jewish quarter with vivid night life. The rooms are in a historical building with high ceiling. The receptionist lady was kind, too.
booked a double room for 3 nights. private bathroom, mini kitchen, cooking facilities, fridge, small dining room and a computer in room! massive room! excellent location. only about 15-20 minutes walk to main bus stop/train station, 10 minutes walk to old town.
no airconditioning in room, so had to keep the windows open. on a main street so a little loud, however this did not bother us as it is excellent value for money
Located centrally in Budapest, directly above a metro station, and around a fifteen minute walk from Keleti railway station. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within easy reach.
No air conditioning in the basic room made for a stuffy night at the end of July. A little pricey for the spartan room. Other than that, nothing.
The location and the staff. They are really kind.
I think our room was the worst of the hotel. It was straight and dark, but correct. I'm not satisfied with it.
Personnel, good wireless
Our room was very poor, loud with broken bed. Impractical toilet. Not a good place to stay if you want to relax.
quiet, great location on top of tube line, basic but clean and generally ok.
only two days but did not clean room but liked the non intervention so?
Bad, really bad. And i am used to cheap hostels. The cleaning so bad I almost wouldn't take my shoes of. Hairs everywhere, floor, bed, shower. Black hairs, short hairs, long hairs, curly hairs, straight hairs. I am light short haired, sure wasn't mine. Sticky dirty spots on the floor, dirty sheets, not clean toilet. Non smoking room, smelled a lot of smoke. The shower was nasty, weird things on the floor in there. It even smelled. How do you make a shower smell? Only good thing was the low price, witch made it possible for me to stay out and far away from the place all day. Would only return in case of war in my country. The wifi was fast!
it's great deal for the money. Beside the metro station, staff is excellent!! Highly highly recommend.
the receptionist was very helpful location is great
i was bitten by the bedbugs. be careful if you are allegic to any bug bites. definately not recommended for couples with children. bathroom was not very clean o noticed black mold in the shower
The staff was very kind and willing to help. The location is amazing
The first room we got was very small, but the staff kindly replaced it for us for a larger room, the next day
cleanliness of common areas
the place was fantastic - easy to get everywhere in the city
- no furniture in room /only beds and small table/.. - from the window you look at the walls around you..
Very close to the metro station and Tram stop. Early check in is not a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. We spent there 3-4 hours at night so it was almost ok. The money we paid for it-is the reason why had it all.
In our first room with a private bathroom we were offered a bathroom and the toilet in the corridor. The second room really had the facilities inside (you cannot imagine how tiny it is, but we had a toilet IN the room), but it all worked VERY LOUD. And the complete absence of rooms isolation- we had to listen to everything going on in neighbors' room. Literally everything!
Staff in the middle of the night when I arrived were very helpfull and friendly. The location was just on the main square...
Location. And that would be it.
1) The hostel could have been cleaner, but it was still ok. 2) There should be information that some rooms do not have "real" windows, but those milky windows looking out onto a sort of a balcony which was also glassed. As a result, I was not able to let any fresh air in and also it was impossible to stay inside without all lights on. Moreover, the staff was not helpful. I have received neither any recommendation nor answers to any of my questions. The most common answer was "you have to look for such a place". To sum up, very disappointing.
