Owners Elisabeth and Gabor are very kind and helpful. He assisted me
with my lost luggage and they both contributed to a pleasant stay. Their
housekeeper, Edit, has been there for 8 years and washed and ironed my
jeans and cleaned up the spilled coffee in my room. The owners both
speak English. Gabor speaks German as well. The property is clean and
the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant.
The breakfast is varied with a choice of egg preparation, multiple breads, fruit, meats. I liked especially that you could get your own coffee from their push-button machine. Breakfast is extra, but only about 4 euros. There is a provided refrigerator, freezer, and microwave and dining table in the main building if you choose to create your own breakfast.
There is free provided parking, with Budapest around 5-6 miles or 10k away. I chose the wonderful and inexpensive bus, subway, tram service. It was a plus for me that it was a several block, uphill walk to the Panzio since I wanted to keep active during my 9 days there. An all day fruit market, grocery and ATM are right near the bus stop. There are signs to the panzio, but I needed some assistance from a local on which direction to initially walk. Hint, go behind the grocery store and start walking uphill.
