staff was nice
there were some bugs in the bathroom which creeps me out!
The place of the hotel is very good
Not very clean Forget about wifi very poor reception And there is no noice isolation we could hear the neighbors.
Reasonable breakfast, Great WiFi connection, reasonable position. Room Size. Lobby decoration...
It is better to call this hotel as good 3* instead of 4*!!! Floor carpets of the room are incredibly dirty, pillows are like paper and you can not feel any pillow. Cleaning is not enough. Bathroom stuff are getting rotten. Lobby bar is closed around 11 and you can not find something to drink while working.
very courteous staff! The amenities in the room were the best! I love the thierry mugler amenities in the bathroom! very convenient location to walk the city and near the james dean bar.
the door to my room wouldn't shut on its own- ensure your door is shut before you walk away for the day/night!
The location of this hotel is ideal for everyone I think - it is in the very city centre. The staff is polite, the breakfast was great and I like this special, somehow orientalising modernism in decoration. It was a good choice altogether.
In terms of location there is no question about it, the hotel is excellent. Clean, confortable and cheaper than other 4 star hotels. I would recommend
Staff are friendly, but are not so good with providing information on where to go or where to eat. It's like they don't know the city they leave in. No restaurant in the hotel. They don't serve lunch or dinner, only breakfast.
They are not well informing the visitors about facilities and car parking
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room we had with a balcony to the centre of hotel were fairly quiet given the city noise going on outside and the room was a decent size.
On arrival the room was very dimly lit. We asked for this improving which was dealt with very prompt and when they had replaced four missing or broken bulbs it looked like a different room-shame we had to ask. About 15 minutes walk to the centre but you have to trade of the walk against the constant noise of a central location.
Breakfes is very poor!!
Budapest, small friendly hotel. Reasonable prices. Staff speak very good English and all very approachable. Very lovely local Italian restaurant - highly recommend.
Too far from city centre although walkable. Bed was rock hard so disturb sleep.
bar closing at 11pm
The location is very good.
The staff of the reception office is not very simpatic and the breakfast is not tasty - too much semi-finished products. Although you will back there several times the staff does not recognize you not even gladly accept you in the hotel.
Location good, quiet, small, good breakfast choice, reasonable price.
Hard bed, old pillows, broken shower and shower enclosure although plenty of hot water. Very stained carpet and walls. No natural light and dim room lighting. No coffee in room.
VERY dirty carpet in our room. Shower drain blocked.
The location is good, or at least it worked for me. The breakfast is nice and offers somewhat diverse and delicious food.
The staff is helpful, but far from "going the extra mile" to make the guests happy - if you need a doctor, they will only offer you ambulance coming to your door for no less than 200 Euro, instead of helping you find cheaper options (especially if you're an eu citizen and have the eu Health Insurance Card). The coffee during breakfast is one of the worst I've ever had. Stains on the walls, the carpet and decorative pillows, looking like my cat had a lot of fun with them, oily fingertips marks on the desk and birds', hm, biological waste all over the window's ledge. You can use the wifi, but only if you sit on the floor right next to the door, otherwise signal is off. Not really looking like a 4-star hotel.
Location, quite environment, design.
Poor breakfast and tables.
location nice hot showers clean towels everyday breakfast was good dining area very clean and buffet not messy lifts very efficient
poor pillows stains on carpet rooms bit small
Constant street noise, air con not working so window had to be open. Kettle with 2 teabags & sugar tubs, but no milk or spoons, bought coffee, sugar not replenished & cups not washed if any coffee left in cup. Bar very small & closed at 10? Decent bars/cafe's 10 minutes plus away.
Excellent location for exploring the city, staff at the hotel were professional & extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Great breakfast choices. Superior Double room was clean, comfortable & quiet.
location food room decor accommodating staff
Good location. Good first impression.
Unclean carpet, walls and worn out bedding. The most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on.
Location and friendliness of staff both excellent.
Free wifi in public area didn't work.
Our round cushion on the bed was torn on several places, that's how our room was waiting for us. Not nice.
Good location near train station, metro, trams, shopping centre, etc. Free wifi, decent variety for breakfast, nice room, friendly staff, great value for money. Would stay here again.
Can be a bit hectic at breakfast, especially weekdays as items, cutlery, etc, could run short; only a minor complaint.
Superb location for sightseeing, shopping and transport links. Nice decor and comfortable bed
Stained carpets, could be fixed quite easily
