Great location, metro is 2min walk away to get you into centre within 10mins. Staff were very helpful

The hotel has an excellent location. It is very close to the red metro line and you can easily reach Pesta side and the famous Vaci street, the Basilca, the Parliament and the Synagogue. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can organize your tourist tours through reception which is very convenient. The breakfast is fine although they can improve on diversity. The hotel was full when we were staying however the restaurant staff handled it very good and although full of guests we did not experience any shortage at any time of anything that was offered at the buffet table. The rooms are renovated; clean and spacious. All in all if you consider value for money the hotel is one of the best in Budapest.

The second day of our stay there was no hot water on our floor, maybe due to the fact that a lot of tourist groups arrived at very short period of time. However, we talked to the reception and the problem was solved very quickly.

We really liked the breakfast, staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Helpful courteous staff (esp Mr Rolando at the reception- was a good help. Others good, too, but could not note down their names), good ambience. I appreciated the kind gesture of the staff giving me a voucher for some coffee and cake in lieu of the breakfast that I deserved on the last day of my leaving (but could not have eaten since I had to leave for the airport by 3.45 AM-very much in advance before the start of the breakfast).

1. I have travelled world over and I understand that this is the food that is available in Europe. Food could have been better. Also have some good India cuisine dishes on the menue. People who would come for business from India would like to have some basic indian dishes/ food since there is a lot of difference in the food at Budapest from the one in India. India has veru good veg and nonveg dishes to offer. 2. The non smoking room I stayed in was very small and gave a feeling of crammed in as compared to the smoking ones although the charge was the same. 3. I would have been happier, if you had refunded the breakfast charges, though. 4. Television channels could have been a bit more English since they were all in a language unknown to a visitor like me. The only English channel was BBC. 5. It took me half an hour to get a single spoon to my room despite contacting the reception and the restaurant twice and finally going myself to the reception to lodge a complaint. 6. The WiFi service needs a dire coverage improvement since it is always on the lowest coveragelevel not just in the rooms but even in the reception. I had lodged a also complaint about it. But it did not improve. It was funny that there was not formal format to lodge a complaint in the hotel. I had to scribble it on a piece of plain paper at the reception. 7. The hotel should have had a swimming pool and Gymnaseum.

Well, I chose it because it was close to the Deli station. But it turned out to be close to the castle, too, which was nice. I only had a few hours in Budapest this trip, and it was enough. But it turned out to be quite a nice hotel, too. (Mercure hotels are pretty consistently nice.) A very elegant room. And a splendid breakfast.

Some of the staff seemed to be struggling to be pleasant that day. But you know, we all do that from time to time, so that's hardly a criticism. Most of the staff didn't struggle at all to be pleasant!

Close to public transport, the quality of breakfast

The room is too hot, you can not sleep with the window open because of the noise. We finally found and cut 2 radiators including one hidden in the bathroom.

Very convenient for Budapest Deli railway station.

This was our 2nd visit within a month, the hotel and the city are both worth for a visit, friendly staff, clean rooms, good value for money and excellent location on Buda side.

I found the reception service very helpful and we had a warm welcome day or night. The disabled room was plenty big enough and well equipt. The wheelchair provided was broken, but serviceable as we used it only at night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to main Chain Bridge and others points of interrest.

The breakfast is not included in the room rate and is expensive.

The hotel was easy to find being just a few minutes walk away from the Deli train station. There is a supermarket nearby that opens till quite late on weekdays so it was easy for us to get a snack or drink on our way back to the hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean.The service at the reception was also fantastic and employees are able to speak good English. We called the reception to ask for some additional towels and pillows, these were sent up to our room pretty promptly. Overall, it was value for money, especially because of the deal we had.

It is located at the Buda side which quite frankly is very much a residential area and ghost town at night. But at the same time, you're away from the buzz in the Pest side which can make it a very peaceful stay. Plus, Budapest has a very extensive public transport network so the hotel is very accessible both by train and by buses. Pillows were slightly too thin for our liking but it isn't much of a problem because we could get extra pillows at no cost.

The availability and kindness of the staff, the room large and well equipped, good location just below the old town of Buda and 50 meters from the Metro station easily connects all the main attractions of Budapest.

Loud noise from the tram outside, the room was a bit cool for winter time and we couldn't make it any warmer
