breakfast, clean location
staff, room, bed idid not like the fact that when i ordered it was written that it is including break fast but when i arrived the hotel reception charged me extra money for breakfast
No ventilation in the bathroom.
- Location is great, very close to a metro station - Kelvin - Room is nice and clean. - Shower is very powerful - Restaurant has a nice menu - Staff are very friendly
- Breakfast is less than average, coffee quality is very poor. - cleaners walk in even if a sign of do not disturb is showing - Bed is not very conformable - room 673
I found the Mercure Budapest Korona Hotel an excellent hotel, from all the points of view. Clean, very confortable, optimal position, very kind personnel. For sure I would return there!
Great location, clean room
Room small, shower awkward
Location, comfort, clean...
Actually, we haven't all the facilities of the hotel, so we can't say how is the pool, bar and anything but the room and breakfast... Budapest is great, just go out and have fun!!!!
-Awful and poor infrastructure -Quality of amenities is deplorable -Bathroom looks like an airplane toilet -Poor ventilation in the room (AC not working properly) and room was stuffy -Room was very small - even if I was alone it would have been too small -Staff seems to no nothing about ---Budapest or would not dare to recommend an original high-quality restaurant or bar
location breakfast was fine
very small room and tiny bathroom uncomfortable bad room and everything in it looks like it is at least 20 years old
I found the staff and the hotel very friendly and helpful
I can't think of anything
The location is absolutely good, in the city centre. Hotel little oldish but fair. Didn't try breakfast.
The staff definitely needs to be taught what hospitality means. At the reception the young lady who received us had a boastful attitude. That was not what we expected from the Mercure standards.
Clean room Great position close to metro M3 Kind staff Not too expensive
Friendliness and efficiency of Hotel staff.
Extremely poor to non existent wifi coverage in the bedroom, which is located over the bridge, and probably too far away from the main router. I did speak with reception, who gave me an alternate wifi access code, but it made no difference. For the standard and slightly non central location of this Hotel, I found that the Bar prices were extremely expensive for drinks.I have paid similar prices in central 5 star hotels in Holland, London, Prague, Edinburgh and Paris.
Nice roomservice, friendly staff. Perfect WiFi connection.
Bit outdated room and bathroom, not 4-star worthy. Also the room is rather small.
Location and facilities were good
Rude staff, cleaners knocking on your door @ 8.30am to clean the room on a Sunday !! Asked to pay for Room service before check out !!
At 04:20 the fire alarm started without a reason made everyone on the floor freak out. Also at 08:10 a lady from the stuff opened the door of our room while we were sleeping to ask if we had used anything from the mini - bar
we were travelling with a baby. Our room was ready earlier than 2 p.m. because I requested for that. When arriving at breakfast they immediately came with a baby chair. our climate in the room wasnt working they fixed it straight away. VERY friendly from check-in to cleaning lady. Looking forward staying there again one day!
That you cannot open the windows in the 8th floor - but that just has to be for security reasons I guess.
I liked the location of the hotel, which was ideal for experiencing the beautiful city of Budapest. We got great value and it was hard to find fault with anything. the staff were very professional and helpful.
The bar and foyer area lacked comfortable seating.
By arrival a friendly employee checked my car and told me i could park my Van in the little hotel parking garage... Thats what i did :(( which damaged the car so after all it was a expensive stay.
Staff so helpful when arriving after 30 hours flying from Australia. Upgraded plus drinks helped on arrival.
Nothing jumps out at all.
In a excellent position to train trams and eating very safe area to walk in the evening.
Wi fi was not always easy to get.
The location was excellent. It is in the centre of Budapest, close to transport hub, scenic areas, and restuarants. The Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful.
Overall We were satisfied.
I liked the service and the locación
I didnt like the bathroom and little amount of champoo and foam.
Excellent location, good breakfast, restaurant with nice view, very good wifi, helpful and skilled staff, hotel parking (paid additionally),
Room and bathroom look pretty old and pretty humble,
Room, bed super comfortable, brilliant shower, great breakfast choices, efficient, friendly staff, being upgraded, coffee maker in the room, metro right outside, pretty much everything!
