Closeness to city centre and all tourist attractions also it was a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro and to bars and restaurants. excellent
lots of interesting places in the neighborhood.
room was rather dated.
spa was clean and hardly any other guests using it so almost a private spa.
no feather pillows :-(
Very clean room, cozy and quiet, comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine (for me at least), Wi-Fi strong and fast. Location was excellent, five minutes walk from Astoria station, very convenient fact, supermarket and other shops very close. Personnel always helpful and friendly.
Air conditioning was terrible, old appliance only making noise and absolutely nothing more. Had to open the window since room was too hot. Shower knobs were missing, water pressure was very low. Towels were badly worn. No slippers. Something a little better could be expected from a 4-star hotel.
even spa and turkish bath was included in price.
One of the staff was very rude.
- Very close to Astoria Metro and the Jewish quarter with all the cool bars and cafes - Very quiet side street - Good free wifi in the rooms
- Mattress was too firm, not very comfortable
The hotel staff were very good, friendly and helpful.
There are no tea and coffee making facilities in your rooms and the wifi is very poor and dropped out regularly.
- Location Central position / Less than 5 minutes walk to Metro station / Calm, secondary road (no road noise) - Room comfort Room provided with all the necessary, well cleaned and with comfortable beds. Also, the room was not small.
- Some of the staff members were a bit "cold", but still helpful ifasket. - Fluctuating working of Wi-fi
Great location Big room Top floor balcony overlooking the city Very helpful staff Great price!
- Great location - Friendly staff - Sometimes the WIFI was bad but after we used another network it was working fine.
- The beds were not very comfortable
the location was perfect good room for the money
Location, staff were helpful.
Close to public transport, quiet area
Spa area is open daily for only 5 hours, WIFI is free, but was not working during our stay, staff could be more helpful, rooms could use some renovation, queen size bed should have one mattress instead two
Great place. We got a very good price.
The shower drain was clogged and weather spilled all over the floor.
I had a preconceived notion of what the Mercure hotel chain was like, and I take it all back! This location had a local feel, the room we had was superbly luxurious for the price, and there was even an on site museum of local artists!
The parking and breakfasts were a bit expensive, but there are always other options, so really, no complaints.
No direct sunlight in our room.
located near the centre good knowledge of English
Good staff and helpful. Good room, clean bath, good service, my room was always cleaned before noon. The position is central and near to a metro stop. there are a couple of supermarkets within 5 minutes of walking distance for any need.
Just minor details: the Wifi connection did not always work and there were some stains on the chair.
excellent hotel with very helpful and kind staff!!!
The breakfast is very expensive.....
Ease of access by Tram. Quiet location but reasonably central. Air conditioned rooms.
Breakfast was a bit variable. Some food choices tended to run out.
spacious, cleaniness, staff are helpful
Wifi is only sometimes has and most of the time needs to go out to corridor for wifi
Breakfast. Dont waste your money there.
There were no facilities to make tea/coffee in the room - apparently you have to pay extra for a 'privilege room' for this. Frankly, I think it is staggering that a hotel claiming to be '4-star' can be lacking in such basic facilities, which one simply takes for granted will be available. What next - toilet paper only in privilege rooms? A surcharge for blankets? I will not be staying in a Mercure hotel for any of my future trips to Budapest.
