Mercure Budapest Museum    

Lokacija je stvarno izvanredna, na nekoliko minuta hoda od Vaci ulice i tri autobuske stanice od žel. stanice Keleti, što je zgodno za one koji dolaze vozom iz Srbije. Hotel je u staroj zgradi ali se to unutra ne vidi. Sobe su moderno dizajnirane, kupatila čista, osoblje ljubazno...

Stoji primedba nekih da su sobe malo mračne. Svetli nekoliko lampi, ali nema glavnog svetla, samo je kupatilo dobro osvetljeno, ali, to nije toliko važno jer, glupo je biti u Budimpešti i sedeti u sobi!

My room was great. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast was expensive but very good with excellent choices. I'd have liked a decaf choice of coffee. I liked the staff I saw the last part of my stay; courteous, friendly, and helpful.

There was no restaurant and the bar had nothing except chips. The lobby was worn and the leather seating torn and darkened from wear. The side street was darker than I would have liked. The price higher than I would have liked and breakfast not included. The power went off and we could not register or visit our rooms until late. It was a struggle to be accommodated or compensated by management.

One of the worst Mercure hotels I have ever stayed in. Receptionist at check out plain rude. One lift broken for the entire week, so only one lift for 9 floors hotel with many guests. Breakfast a logistical nightmare (far too little staff, to save money!). Small rooms with hardly any storage space in room and bathroom. Noisy

The hotel is quite new so the facilities are modern and in good shape. The room was a bit on the small side, but very nicely decorated. The bathroom also small but very functional.

Location: it's about five blocks from the river and the pedestrian streets, which is not much, but the area immediately surrounding the hotel is not as nice as the rest of the city. When we arrived air conditioning system had still not been activated, although the temperature had been above 20°c for the previous 4/5 days, so the first 2 nights were really uncomfortable!! We asked to change rooms, but the only available one was on the ground floor. When we asked when the a/c system would be activated the reply was that "maybe" the following day. Staff was hit or miss: some were very nice and others were not, to the point that they would not even look up from the front desk when someone walked by (I didn't expect to be greeted, but I did expect for security's sake that they would at least see who was walking into the hotel). Not major problems, but things I'd like to know when deciding whether to book. I would still recommend it.

I booked a 4 star hotel but did not receive 4 star facilities - no safe, no robes and no tea making facilities. Not good enough for a 4 star. I choose 4 star accommodation as we are a middle aged couple who enjoy little luxuries and 4 start should mean the same all over the world. I did not expect 3 star level of facilities in our room.

Noise from street at un-sociable hours. Rain noise on hotel canopy. Price of breakfast (€10) to me €7-8 is the going rate.

Very nice hotel at reasonable price. Location was very good as there was possibility to take public transportation to city center and also the walking distance to the city center was short.

The room smelled like sewer. Price for a dog was quite high, 20 euros per night.

Value for money is excellent. Location is also good. Rooms were nice and in good condition.

Room was too hot. Water pressure was low. Dirty towel between bed and wall when we arrived. Couple of dark hairs on the pillow also when we arrived. Room cleaning could doa better job.

The hotel was quiet and peaceful (off season). The staff was friendly, wifi was free and worked well. The location was convenient with close-by sights and interesting locations as well as good connections to other locations further away.

Waxing of the floors with a noisy machine in the middle of the night wasn't such a pleasant thing.

Great room. Impressed with design and building components in room, sink, shower, front door etc.

Towels and bathrobe were the only things that felt out of place. Cheap quality and worn out. Staff was unevenly trained, some with great understanding of service and some without. .

The first we got (001) had a major water damage, water in the bathroom was coming in from the room upstairs, but we were promptly given another - albeit smaller - room upstairs. Very professional staff, great location.

5 nights even one they didnt change sheets smoke smelling in all the 3rd floor when I was checking for hotels I was looking hotels with spa!when I arrived the spa was closed and also booking was uninformed for that!i supose to rent hotel with spa!not only a room!im very dissapointed from this hotel!

Two twin beds puhed together to make a double bed is never comfortable. The crack in the middle is always a problem.

Location was great, just a few minutes walk to the metro and about 10 minutes walk to the centre. Very quite area. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice.

The hotel was very warm and the air co was not working very well in our room. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. A choice of warm vegetarian food at breakfast would have been nice.

The situación in the city and the silencie in the room

The shower was broken and they did not change my room. And the water was not hot, only medium hot, which is not enough in winter.
