Hotel Metro  

Clean and spacious room, clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good location 15 minutes walk from city centre, one minute from metro station and shopping mall.

Not the most comfortable bed. There was some noise like buzzing all the night, probably coming from transformer station near by. I had no problem with it, but my girlfriend was having trouble falling asleep. If you are a light sleeper you might have problems.

Great staff, very helpfull if needed, location at the border of District xiii and v so all important tourists location is very close (Parlament building, St Istvan Basilica, etc...). Also, WestEnd shopping center is just 100 meter away. Also, m1 metro line station and Nyugati Western railway station are right next to WestEnd. Great location and quality for price. Can recommend to anyone visiting Pest, especially for the first time.

Maybe checkout time should be extended till 11am, instead of 10am. Sometimes one hour can mean a lot. Rooms are little cheaper than on images here but it's not a big difference.

The staff was great, helped us with any possible info about Budapest. We also liked the location of Hotel Metro - 3 minutes walk from metro. bus and tram stations, 15 min. walk from the beautiful Island. The room was more spacious than usually.

We didn't like the bed. For some reason, it was uncomfortable. Too soft, at least for us.

It was very close to the Nyugen train station. Relatively easy to find. Easy walk or metro to the inner city. Reception staff were helpful. Double bedroom was spacious.

The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests- leading to having to share tables. The shower nozzle kept falling off and was set too high on the wall but otherwise the bathroom was lovely.

The room looked nice, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't any air conditioning in the room except for a small fan, and it was August so it was extremely hot, so we could barely get any sleep. Also not much of a choice for breakfast.

No air conditioning

Nice and firendly personal, good shower, great location, fridge and tea making in room, fast and free wifi (was able to stream British TV to my device), breakfast was good enough at this rate. Nice, seemingly safe neighbourhood with supermarkets and cafes close by and short walk to station. If going to Budapest again would certainly consider using this hotel again.

Excellent! The staff were amazing, the rooms are nice and the Hotel is not so far out of town. We left at 4am for our flight to Thessaloniki and the staff packed breakfast to go!/ printed our boarding passes.

I liked the staff, they were very friendly, polite and in the same time professional. Also the location was excelent. The hotel provides many facilities for a good price.

I was not very satisfied regarding the cleanliness in the room ( hair on the bed sheets,on the floor) .

The Hotel Metro does not have air condition in 3rd and 4th floor. The room temperature is very still hot, more than 97 f when we arrived in at 2;00 am 7/11/2012. We could not sleep at all. It is not a liveable hotel in hot summar.

Quite central, 2 minutes walk from the subway station, helpful English speaking staff, clean and reasonably sized rooms, good reception of Wi-Fi signal in the room. Good value for money.

The room is not air conditioned, and it was very hot during my stay to Budapest, so it was very hard to sleep.

Main entrance and the rooms were like in 19th century's palace but I loved it :) This place was very clean. Big rooms and clean bathrooms equipped with towels. Tasty breakfast (for English people: kitchen equipped with toaster :)) Great localisation next to train station, metro and trams. 5 minutes walking to Margaret Bridge. Personel was awesome! Helpful and always on the place. You ask in the reception to call the taxi to the airport. It was much cheaper than taxi from airport -> Hotel Metro (~5000 forints). I really recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel: clean and spacious room, friendly stuff, good location and good breakfast.

Our room was near the reception and one morning the noise woke us up. The tv had only six channels and five were Hungarian. Wi Fi had very bad signal.

Good location for city , close to Western Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar) which cost 370 HUF ( Just over £1 ) from the Airport. Good Value for money.

Convenient & quiet location , safety, adequate, nutritious (but not fancy) breakfast offerings, clean rooms, good-sized bathroom

Excelent location. Goog value for money. Friendly staff. On weekend free parking on the street in front of the hotel.
