All, les the road.
The room was nothing like in the pictures on the site. Low ceiling, and small space.
I liked the nice view over Budapest from the room's balcony and the breakfast even if the coffee was too weak.. The place was quiet at night.
The room has old furniture, towels and an old-specific smell.. It doesn't have air conditioner, only a fan.. It is located far from the city centre.
The friendliness of the staff and the restaurant food was to die for
Nice view of the Budapest
Everything. All was good.
Nothing to dislike.
The area is beautiful on a hill next to centre. The hotel has potential, but is due a refurbishment
Bit complicated to go to centre by public transport
Perfect location with stunning views of the city. For Hungary it is really good service and the personnel smiles and greats as well as help you with most things.
The beds are not good, they are standard rather hard beds and the hotell should really change them to make the experience as a total much better
Good breakfast, nice and quiet neighbourhood.
There are actually 2 buildings, A and B, really different, despite the fact that the rooms have the same price. When we first got here, we were accommodated in the building B, in a really small room, despite the fact that we were 3 adults. Grey and old towels, room not very clean. When we got there after two weeks and we specifically asked for a room in the building A, things changed and the room was better.
The breakfast was a joke and the room's furniture was straight from the 80's (with all the signs to show it).
Hotel, staff, service
Expect bit more from breakfast, but fair considering the price
Everything it was ok
-The staff was great...breakfast was very good -parking included
A little bit far from the city centre but if you go by car and you have a gps it's ok.
Staff were proficient, friendly, and very helpful. All could speak English. Room 1 was large with a wonderful balcony and easy access to the eating areas. Breakfast had a good range of food, and Andy from Hungary, was very proficient and courteous. Also, the daily and evening dinner waiter was friendly, efficient, and full of humour. The local bus stop into the outskirts of Budapest, No 53, was only 200 metres away. The hotel sells bus tickets at 350 forints per ticket, and exchanges Euros for 275 forints for 1 Euro. The evening menu was of great range including traditional Hungarian dishes. Beer was good. At night, staff wheel- locked the ours and other clients cars to prevent theft during the night. The area is pleasant. The hotel grounds are green, lush, well kept. A playground for children is there which is an asset. Overall, the hotel surrounds are very pleasing to the eye.
Our room was supposed to be air conditioned. It wasn'T. After my query, we were offered an aircon room in another building owned by the establishment, 30 metres away. However, the room was smaller and I chose the original Room 1 which had a fan but the nights were hot, and the fan had little effect on the hot room conditions. There is only one room air conditioned in the main hotel building, and I think the owner lives there. Of the four nights we stayed there, a yapping dog from the property next door was barking incessantly for two of those nights. Even though the bus tickets were 350 forints at the hotel, everywhere else in Budapest and on the bus, tickets cost 300 forints. Also, the exchange rate everywhere else in Budapest and at the markets, on the Hop-On Hop - Off bus, the exchange rate was 300 forints per one Euro, not 275 given by the hotel. The bus #53 does not go into the centre of Budapest. From the end of the bus line on one side of the river, one must catch tram # 47 to go across the river to the centre of town. Approx five/six stops to the centre.
The staff was polite and the lady at the front desk was speaking English very well. The location was fine for us, in a quiet area. They provided parking in front of the hotel free of charge. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant looked very well.
We did not like the towels and we believe that cleaning could have been better.
The main building is very nice, the secondary not so much.
The first impression of the hotel was that it was ok. We stayed in a different building that was even cuter than the main building. The room was clean and cozy and really comfortable. The view was beautiful and the zone was really silent.
The Wi-Fi connection was really slow from our room. The bathroom was really small; you could barely take a shower without getting out of the it with bruises from hitting yourself in the wall.
The only things we liked was the reception staff, who were helpful and spoke really good english, and the free parking space.
First of all, the room had nothing to do with the pictures on booking.com. The building has a communist feel, the furniture is old, and the bathroom hasn't been modernized for years. The room just looks depressing. The hotel is very far away from the city. You can get there only by bus and then by metro. It takes more than 30 minutes. The are roadworks going on around the hotel, so we couldn't find it the first time and there was also noise because of that. The breakfast food quality was poor and there weren't many options. On the whole, I wouldn't reccomend this hotel.
If you are lucky enough you can get a room with a panoramic city view. Good breakfast.
Room was without balcony, though it had to be. Hotel is on the top of the hill, so be aware if you are traveling without a car. Noise from outside is not very well isolated.
Internet access parking included breakfast included
a bit far away from the center but that is acceptable if the price is good
I don't like.
This hotel is horror. The hotel - Corp B is in fact a pension with 2 stars, very old furniture and TV equipment, dirty towels and linens. The breakfast is poor
Very silent place Nice view
Excellent food, nice staff, calm and beautiful panorama
Bed pillow and Sheets ! catastrophe ! They definitely have to change it !
Hotel is in a quiet location, but it is also very remote to the city. The room we stayed in was quite spacious. Hotel staff were pretty polite.
Cleanliness is not as we would expect. Breakfast is very poor especially for those who are vegetarians or who have certain dietary restrictions. Towels were very thin. Stairs to upper floors are very narrow and if you have a large luggage, it's going to be very hard to go upstairs. There are no elevators in the hotel.
