Very romantic hotel with excellent location and very kind hosts. Just a few steps from Andrassy Avenue, where you can find everything you want. Surely we'll back again.
Staff extremely helpful, assisted with great restaurant and spa recommendations. Very comfortable room. Lots of choice at breakfast buffet. Free mulled wine in the evenings was a lovely treat. Central location but not noisy in the evenings. Would happily stay here again.
nothing, very enjoyable stay!
CENTRAL LOCATION HELPFUL STAFF
We really liked the hotel. The location is very close both to the Basilica and the Opera. The breakfast was good and the staff was very kind.
In the mail conversation they told us parking fee is 15 euro per day (the parking is NEAR the hotel not in the hotel). Finally they charge us almost 34 euro for less than 40 hours but on the signs in the parking it was written 31 euro for 2 days. The problem is not in those 3 euro but why we have to pay more as a hotel guests rather than normal user of the garage?!?
Free hot wine and biscuits in early evening, free tea and hot chocolate in morning. Welcome mini wine bottle in room on arrival. Umbrellas provided free of charge to hire. Good size clean and comfortable room.
Toiletries not replaced, noisy bar opposite hotel
Location is very good who like to roam around the city. Talking about older building with its old charms, renovation tried to keep up with modern trends. Staff was helpful and very nice. They make small gestures that really hooks you up and (at least myself) highly appreciate (welcome wine with hand written card, after cleaning the room, they leave again hand written card with the 'quote of the day')
I was quite surprised at the size of the room (if it was one sq m smaller, I would feel claustrophobic), especially when we were told that we were being upgraded to bigger room (since you know through booking what size you're booking). Bathroom pipes had this strange smell that sometimes it was hard to stand in it. though staff was generally very nice and helpful, from time to time, in discussion they were quite in patronizing mood, even for the basic questions and answers.
very cozzy bedding for the tough weather, facilities feel at home.
lobby and restraunt a little bit too small.
fast, efficient staff, always organised and willing t help
parking is not prefect(not really the hotels fault)
They had even champagne at breakfast! Wow! Excelent meal. Staff was very helpfull and kind. In case of bad weather they had umbrellas for take in the lobby.
They charged 10000HUF ~30 € deposit first thig at arrival, before even check in. I was not expecting that. Parking is actualy in a public pay parking building at some 150m down the corner. Hotel charges some comission if parking is payed throug the hotel. My advise is to pay directly to the parking.
The location was excellent, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was nice and big and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was great, everything you need and more!
Cozy hotel. Staff are accommodating and friendly. One of the best hotel I stayed in Europe. Hotel is very considerate, preparing drinks for guests to take out in this cold weather. Hot chocolate and coffee during the day and home cooked mulled red wine in the evening. Would strongly recommend this place to my friends.
everything!! Friendly staff, comfy room, complementary coffee & mulled wine... I could go on!
a tiny thing: I could have done with a couple of milk sachets for my tea in my room... Can't think of anything else!
Everything just perfect! I would return a thousand times! The jacuzzi is wonderful!
The twin beds. Should be a tub in the bathroom.
Comfort, service, close to center, friendly and helpfull staff. Great value for money!
Breakfast area space is too small, so you feel a bit like eating in a plane, but other than that it is ok.
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, very convenient location, nice breakfast, helpful staff.
A bigger room on the ground floor next to the elevator, where everyone is passing by and there is hardly any natural light was sold as deluxe apartment. The other rooms were fine.
Everything Staff Comfort Complimentary mulled wine, fruit, hot chocolate All the extra touched
Nothing not to like
Every staff member we met was so friendly and kind Breakfast was very good There was a station with tea, hot chocolate to help yourself to throughout the day and on evening there was mulled wine! The location is great, you can walk everywhere from the hotel.
Kitchen facilities for the nights we did not want to eat out, mulled wine and cookies in the evening and hot chocolate in the late morning. Breakfast was very good and offerred a good selection of items. The location was off the main road so was quiet yet close enough to walk to the main points of interest.
Very good location; Friendly staff; Clean room; Good meal.

view from the window =)
the heart of this place beats like in baby ;)
Reception staff - extremely professional , Rooms/Apartment well equipped , very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast room is quiet compact, however all the basics are there to have a good breakfast
Location.Proximity to the Opera.
The breakfast room is akwardly tiny, the tiniest I´ve ever seen. For people wanting grand lobbies with bars and sitting areas, this is not the place.
Near to opera and andrassy street. Very friendly staff
Bit far from city center
My husband and I were so pleased with this hotel! It is in an ideal location--especially if you're going to the opera. It is also walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. The room was extremely clean and fairly spacious. The breakfast was good as well. We would definitely stay here again. In fact, I would insist upon it.
The bathroom was a bit cramped--but that is more typical of Europe. Also, a plug on my side of the bed would have been nice.
