We were surprised at the size of the apartment, given the great price! It was also exceptionally clean and inviting. As there were 3 of us, it was also comfortable for more than just a couple...would definitely recommend it to friends! |

The location was brilliant, with two kids it meant we could just walk out the door and within minutes be at the main sights. The staff were great and recommended a wonderful place to eat which was frequented by the locals so we got tradional food at a fantastic price. Parking was secure which was also a big factor as we have a very full car as we are on the road for another 6 months. If we didn't need to move on I would have stayed in Budapest purely for the accomodation. If we ever go to Budapest again, I would book the Opera Residence again. It was a little out of our budget but well worth the extra cost for the security (see above about car) and the comfort it gave us (especially as the weather was freezing) and the proximity to everything. |

The location is unbeatable. Code entry made it unnecessary to go through reception each time. Lift in appartment with all amenities: washing machine, microwave, full kitchen, hoover, ironing board, tv + vcr, full fridge. There were a few "issues" with the flat but all in all it was very convenient to have a kitchen available and I would recommend it to anyone travelling in a group of 3 people or more who are trying to travel on a budget. Note that there is WiFi but without any guarantee from the hotel (!!!!!) We were lucky to find a stray signal each day but it was a bit frustrating as the hotel had boasted that they provide free wireless which implicitly means that you could also have a lan cable connection, which was not possible. Comfort of the beds. The pull out Ikea couch was lumpy and the pillow/duvet covers poor quality. It was clear that the flat had not been properly dusted before we arrived as there was about 2 inches of dust under the beds which we had to hoover ourselves (2 of the guests have severe allergies to dust and had major issues during the entire stay). We did not appreciate being asked on the last day at 10.30 by the cleaning staff "when are you leaving". We are asked to vacate by 11am. We vacated at 10.58. This is unacceptable to be asked to leave earlier than indicated. No face clothes were available upon our arrival and despite going down to reception to complain about dirty towels, this was only rectified after we went down a 2nd time. |

Very good value for money. Spacious appartment with all facilities you need. You can park your car under the appartment in a very secure environment. Everything was very well cleaned. Optimum location in the heart of Budapest. |

The appartment is clean though a little sparse, and the people friendly. There was a door somewhere being continually slammed at all hours, and being a light sleeper it kept waking me up which is if your a light sleeper irritable. The location of the appartment is very good for the trams, restuarants and the Opera House itself. The door slamming continually during the night. |

We were very very happy with our appartement (no 612). Great location, 2 generous rooms (bedroom to the quiet side)- IKEA Style, from washing machine to microwave was everything available. The prize was really really reasonable.... |

Very good location close to the tourist attractions with a lot of restaurants,cafes and bars around. There are also 24-hour shops where you can buy food whenever you want to eat.Nice and helpful staff, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, safe car parking underground.Very good price. If I come to Budapest once more, I'll stay at this hotel again. When we arrive in the late evening, the gate was closed, there was only one way to connect to the staff calling on the mobile phone. |

It is in a great location as far as seeing the city as a tourist. If you are staying for a longer time and can stock up on groceries, it is a great place to consider. It has nice kitchens and eating areas in the rooms. There are also restaurants within walking distance. It was clean too. Way too expensive for not having a restaurant or a good breakfast option on site. Just remember, this is a Residence facility (designed for longer stays), not a regular hotel. I would not recommend this place to families with small children. You must provide your own soap and shampoo too. |
