Very modern hotel. Excellent staff. Very quiet place to stay with a good location. Bathrooms have glass doors so beware of noise ! Also, the lighting in the bar area is too bright to relax with drinks. |

Hotel Palazzo Zichy works hard to make your stay memorable. Their airport pick-up right through to tour bookings – we enjoyed all their efforts. The building is a flawless blend of a tradition with contemporary lines and textures. Our room was wonderful, feeling like a luxury resort; soft towels, large warm bed and space to spare. Breakfast is really nice, with something for every taste. We asked about a nice restaurant and were pointed to ‘Costes’, a simply magnificent dining pleasure. Zichy is fantastic. |

Very close to the city , friendly staff, lots of choice in breakfast and the wifi in room is a big plus. Polyester blanket does not belong in a 4 star hotel and hotel should provide extra pillow. Not able to sit down and relax in the room after a long sightseeing day because there is only one hard chair in the our room. |

The staff were very helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel, and its location was approx 10-15 walk from the main area in Budapest. The dinning facilities were a bit on the small side , no facilities to eat at night in the hotel. |

This hotel was top quality, excellent service and staff, wonderful breakfast and nice location. The recently refurbished (Feb 2009) hotel has been very well kitted out and everything was very comfortable! It is a bit difficult for taxi drivers to find the hotel, but the instructions on the hotel's website are clear enough. |

Having been on many city breaks in various countries I would say that this hotel provided as good quality and value for money as any we have used in the past. |

The design of the hotel was very good, the room was nice and clean and the breakfast was full. For those who want to work out, the gym is a bit limited. |

Very nice staff and very helpfull. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very confortable room and in a very quiet area of the city. Everything you want from this type of hotel. Location is far from everything, but we had no problem with safety of the location. Be prepared to walk a lot to go places. |

We found the hotel very comfortable. Despite being fairly central it was quiet. The breakfast included some hot dishes as well as the usual fare. It was only a short walk to the metro and trams, while there were a number of reasonable eateries/bars nearby. |

The hospitality of the receptionists. Large choice for breakfast. Saturday morning on 6th floor, we heard the voice and noise of next door in the morning made us woke up. For 2nd night of our stay, we are accepted to change the room to 1st floor, but we heard guest walking around with her shoes on 2nd floor. The isolation was the only weakness of the hotel. Otherwise my friend and I liked so much. |

The hotel is centrally located, 200m from a tram stop and easy walking distance of the Danube and downtown. There are numerous restuarants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The hotel is tastefully decorated with good sized rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is the usual mixture of hot food, cold cuts and breads - it was tasty, plentiful and well managed. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. All in all, it deserves the high rating given by other guests. It would have been nice to have been able to set the airco to a temperature lower than 21C. The street can be noisy, especially when the bins are collected. |

The staff were incredibly helpful, the best we have encountered yet. They gave advice on directions, restaurants and answered any questions we had. All were very friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, quiet, comfortable and a great location. |

friendly staff, location is an issue, also there is sth wrong with the matress, it's not even a flat matress. No kettle in the room, they even cannot provide a pot with hot water, as I konw the tap water in Budapest is not drinkable... The temperature cannot be adjusted which is too cold for me. |

The location was good. Hotel interior and rooms very well maintained. Excellent breakfast. Reception staff extremely helpful Although tea/coffee was available in the reception area, it might have been nice to have hot drinks available in the rooms. |

Very nice new clean hotel with an outstanding good servce. The lady in reception was super friendly. Breakfast was good. Free mineral water, coffee and tea during the day was very nice. The only negative thing was that hotel seems to be using the most expensive taxi company of Budapest. I asked recepiton to call taxi for me and I got robbed = 4,8 km cost 4000HUF, when the price back from the same address with ordinary taxi was 1000HUF!!! Other thing that might surprise is the size of single room = very small and tiny. |
