We have stayed at the Hotel Pest in the past. The staff is very friendly and remembered us. Our taxi left for the airport at 6 am and coffee, juice etc. was prepared for us ahead of normal breakfast. The carpet in the room might be upgraded. It's seen some wear. |

The hotel is well situated just off of Andrassy. There are several appealing shops, restaurants, and cafes in the area. The hotel is not prepossessing from the outside but gives a good impression within. Rooms are large, for a European mid-price hotel, and comfortable. Some look on the small front street, not too busy, and some on a pleasant interior courtyard. Breakfast offers a good selection. The staff are especially helpful and engaging. There is not a thing we did not like about this hotel. |

Great place, renovated 3 years ago, good value and friendly staff. I stayed for 5 days and it's central location was ideal for visiting the city. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafés (with wifi) and shops nearby. |

The room was excellent, the breakfast was very good, the location is excellent (2 minutes from the subway and from the Opera, and about 15 minutes walking distance from the Chain Bridge). There was no computer for Internet use at the hotel. Unfortunately, there is no Lan-house near the hotel, so doing e-mail was always a headache. |

you get a very big room! the hotel is in a fantastic old building, but everything is renovated and inside it is a modern hotelroom. A lot of space and everything is very nice. There are two points of negative comment on this hotel: 1) the airconditioning didn't worked, and even after asking to fix it, in the 6 days we stayed in the hotel it was never fixed or we didn't got another room (and they had almost 100% sure empty rooms). So service when something is wrong is 0/10, but I knew this: it is in other reviews of other people too. 2) The second negative point is the breakfast. It is not a lot, but especially: they don't give fresh bread on Saturday/Sunday; it is the same old bread from Friday (!!), especially on Sunday it is not possible to eat it. The rest of the breakfast is more or less ok, but you don't have a lot of choice. |

Well located (50 meters from the metro) and good standard for the price. Breakfast suited my tastes. Clean airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shame about the coffee. |

Excellent location, very friendly staff, clean and pleasant rooms Airconditioning at the hotel was only working during the day and was switched off at 7PM for the night (as staff at the reception explained to us) |

The hotel is very conveniently located. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful. They arranged to enable me to cancel my last night of stay in my original booking due to the last minute change in my travel plan. The room is spacious, and the breakfast is good. I had problem with the internet connection in my room. Anyway, this was minor. |

the hotel is nice once you are inside, the two gentlemen working reception were friendly and helpful, our room was hugge and had lot's of windows, new bathroom the outside around the hotel |

Spacious and clean room, helpful staff, good breakfast. Overall very comfortable hotel, worths the money. Double bed was uncomfortable, two single beds were detached frequently when I was in the middle. Keys; need to lock/unlock the door manually each time, which is slightly frustrating for such a good hotel. |

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The room was fine; clean, spacious, and plenty of light. The beds were not the most comfortable, but I slept fine. The bathroom had plenty of room, good water pressure and amenities. The beds were not the most comfortable, but I slept fine. (They were adequate, but certainly were not a luxury.) |

the hotel was cool & relaxing after daily sightseeing. Our room overlooked a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was good. everywhere was spotless. the staff were very willing & able to offer help & advice. I would recommend the hotel to anyone doing a city break in Budapest. |

Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was buffet with eggs, cold cuts, cheeses and breads - plenty to keep a person going. The room was large and airy; location was on a quiet side street within walking distance of shopping, trams, buses. |

Nice room and breakfast area. The bed was too soft, and the duvet was too small, also the bed sheet seemed to be worn out somewhat. |
