In the heart of downtown Budapest, Pesto Hostel is just 1700 ft from the banks of the Danube River. The cozy hostel is set in a traditional town house, and offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. The bright and airy bedrooms feature bare hardwood floors and colorful linens. All rooms have ironing facilities, and there are plenty of shared bathrooms. Hearty continental breakfasts are served daily at Hostel Pesto, including fresh coffee. There is also a shared kitchen and dining room for self-catering guests. Just 500 ft from Ferenciek Tere Metro Station, Pesto Hostel is a 15-minute tram ride from Budapest Castle. Wij deelden het hostel slechts twee nachten met andere gasten, waardoor het meer aanvoelde als een appartement dan als een hostel. Dit was heel prettig, Pesto was zo een fijne rustige uitvalsbasis voor week vakantie. Het personeel is niet altijd aanwezig, maar de communicatie verliep soepel. Verder is Pesto van alle gemakken voorzien. Het warm water viel onder de douche wat lastig te regelen, maar na even wennen prima te doen verder.
