Very good location, friendly staff

No real daylight in room

reception area needs renovation and breakfast room is really too small

I didn't like the customer service for example we went to the room and everything was fine until we tried the toilet and it was not flushing so we brought to the attention of the staff at reception. We were told that while we left the hotel that it would be looked at. When we arrived back we were told that the problem was fixed. We checked and it was fine but there was a very strong smell of sewage in the bathroom. We then went downstairs to complain about the smell and we were told it was normal with the rainfall. It was very hard to get the reception staff to offer us another room as we were told it was the same in every room. But finally we managed to get a smaller room without any smell or problem. We were staying in the hotel for 5 nights but to our disappointment the refills of cotton buds, cotton pads and shower gel were not filled throughout our stay. Our package included breakfast, we only had breakfast for 2 days, the only problem was how dry the bread was. I wouldn't recommend this 3 and a half star hotel to any of my friends and family and I will not be visiting again.

The location, the stafff

It took to long time to clean up the rooom in the morning. Untill 1.30 pm when I asked for cleaning. It is a long time when you are tourist and want to relax

Wi-Fi connection was far from ideal, but I don't know wether it was proper to the hotel or proper to Budapest.

Good location, good price being out of season in February having paid full amount in advance. Off Vaci Utci, handy for most sights and tube etc

Were charged wrong for mini bar on check out but was resolved. No hotel bar. Breakfast was ok

Nagyon kedves és segítőkész személyzet. Kényelmes, tágas szoba, egészen modern berendezésű szálloda. A reggelijük is bőséges. Gyakorlatilag Budapest központjában, mindentől karnyújtásnyira. Ezért az árért a környéken nem találtam jobbat. Very kind and helpful staff. Bonny breakfast, comfortable rooms and modern design in the heart of Budapest (Váci str.), within walking distance from the major attractions. And it's cheeeap, very good value.

Location is great - close to metro station of the metro line that goes from the airport. Just a few blocks from central square, two bridges ove Duna and close to other sights. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast is good.

Ideal location in the centre of Pest. Friendly, competent staff. Spacious comfortable, clean room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Secure storage of luggage after bookout until evening flight.

Wonderful, budget friendly hotel in Budapest's city center. Free wi-fi kept me in touch with those at home while traveling alone. Great complimentary breakfast spread, running late into the morning for late risers. Comfortable and modern, witih a very reasonable mini-bar in room. Would recommend and will stay again!

The Promenade City hotel is extremely well located in 'the' shopping street of Budapest. This location is well situated for shopping, city exploration and evening activities. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good. Staff was helpful in facilitating last minute changes in the travel schedule. Would recommend this hotel for a city-trip or short business trip.

The shower was not well suited for taller individuals as myself and upon that lacking any kind of shower curtain/screen which resulted in either a rather uncomfortable shower or mopping the floor afterwards.

Great location...

Rooms are clean, tidy but dont expect any windows or view.. Its kind of claustrophobic. We wanted to change the room but they said it was full, but we knew it was not.
