Location of this hostel, clean, quiet, cool staff

Really nothing, 1000% satisfaction

the hostel is really nice, I was there only for 1 night but felt like home- big, warm kitchen, wonderful receptionist, small but nice and very clean rooms and bathroom. The localization is just perfect- right in the city centre. Wish I stayed there longer with my friends!

The location and the building in which the hostel is were fantastic. Very high ceilings, monumental architecture. Superb location.

The bed squeaking under me woke me up in the middle of the night a few times. The neighbours could be heard too much, and they had made a mess of the bathroom, so I did not feel comfortable using it. There were no towels either.

it was close to the city centre. We used it just for sleeping.

The bathroom wasn't nice and very clean. The shower didn't work periodically.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is excellent, the rooms are clean, functional and nice. I highly recommend this hostel!

The location is great, it's really easy to reach from both stations, and even though it's in the inner city, it's really quiet. The staff is friendly, everything's clean, very nice.

Staff was really friendly. We arrived at 1am and the receptionist was still waiting for our arrival. That was really kind. In the middle of the citycentre in a really nice building.

Shower wasn t really good

the stuff is very nice!! and location is very very good. you can get to metro station, tram stop, shops, cafes in only a couple of minute walk.

the room where i stayed has only one power point and it's used for lamp. if they had another one near the bed, it was perfect.

It was my first trip alone and my first also to Hungary, and the staff made me feel immediately welcome. The rooms are definitely worth the price with large windows and comfortable beds. Not to mention that most all of the city is walkable right from the hostel. I would definitely stay here again.

Sometimes the neighbors outside the hostel but in the same apartment building can be a bit noisy. Only really noticed it one night, though.

Good location, friendly atmosphere

Great service, hotel staff helped us even more then it was agreed by the terms. We were very pleased about it. They are always there to help. Also hostel is situated at great location in the center of the Budapest. We had a great time there!

No towels in the bathroom.

The location is perfect for a city trip with a group of friends. There are many bars nearby and you can enjoy night life.

When we booked we were said that the toilets were in common with one other room while the situation was a bit different. There were 5 rooms (at least one of which having 4 places) and two toilets in the corridor, but one for men and one for women. This means that, as the most part of the hosts were men, there was one toilet for about 10 peoples. In this case you should just write 'shared toilets' in order to be correct.

No breakfast. That wouldn't be an issue normally, but other hostels provide it for the same price.

excellent location, price, hotel staff and comfort. it is like as cheap as a hostel and as quite and comfortable as a hotel. the hotel staff (thank u bee and zoli!!) were extremely helpful. i was travelling solo but the location and the environment immediately made me feel at home, relaxed, safe and at ease. the fully organised kitchen was a topping on the cake.... was just wonderful!!

The Hostel is situated in the very heart of Pest city centre, easily available from Astoria as well as Deak Ter Metro-Station! When I was there, there were still maintenance works going on (the whole hostel have been renewed recently!) and so the hostel´s interieur is really in the best conditions you can find; so i would say one of the best value for money at Budapest! One other very good point: There is a fridge and a kitchen where you can prepare meals for yourself--- as well as going out for eating is really no problem: there are plenty of nice cafès for breakfast and restaurants around the place!

Wonderful flat. We will come back. Very friendly host.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We missed our train and went back to request another night there. When they realised they were booked out they spent a long time finding us another hostel nearby in which to stay.

The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Able to get laundry done for small cost. The place clean with kitchen/refrigerator use.

Hot weather and no fan much less air con. Had to pay extra for towels.

Location, location, location... Which is great - right in the middle of the city center. Beds - it was really hard to wake up because of the comfort. Really helpful and friendly personnel. Fully equipped kitchen. To sum up - in Red Bus Hostel I liked the most... Red Bus Hostel.

Location, location, location

The bed and pillow were not very comfortable for me; now breakfast; some minor problems with the common bathroom/wc as well; Something stupid and irritating in my opinion was the key-deposit of 7 Euro and the towel rent of 1,3 Euro in the same moment when I gave 150Euro for my stay.
