-Breakfast was very basic with few options -Bed was too hard and pillows too squishy for my liking -An IPTV setup which simply didn't work. Only a handful of channels worked and changing channels was painfully slow. I understand these are technology problems but it was the hotel that decided to deploy this specific IPTV solution.
Staff - freindly and very helpful, Spa, price, location - right at the top of the main tourist street and very close to the market.
The Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Hotel is fantastically located. Faultless Hotel
Staff was helpful.
Hotel cosmetics are very poor.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We checked out very early in the morning and they prepared a breakfast bag, never happened to me before. Excellent location, facilities and very good breakfast.
The single room was a little bit small and the bed wasn't very comfortable.
Really friendly helpful staff Room very clean, quiet and tastefully furniture. Breakfast high standard Lovely and warm. Location perfect
Television not good but had own DVD's to watch so no problem for us.
Location perfect. Very close to metro and to major tram center lines. Basic, but good and fresh breakfast. The stuff was friendly and always helpful. Nice small spa-room with Jacuzzi and sauna ( not hot as expected to be ). For a very good price for 4 night - good choice.
The bathroom : Only bath with a shower and w/o any glass/curtain - all water falls on the bath floor. The TV operation - not friendly, small channel choice. Today that's not a problem - who need actually TV ? Wi-Fi enough.
Great hotel in a fantastic location - on Pest side by the river with access to trains, trams and the tourist spots right on your door. The Executive room had plenty of space and was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Budapest.
It's a small whinge but I found the shower a bit dysfunctional - a simple change of showerhead to one the faces down into the bath would make for a lot drier bathroom floor. I did tell them that on checkout too.
I liked most the location and the old style rooms.
The breakfast could be more light. I would suggest having 0% fat milk, cream cheese or low fat food.
Staff very nice and helpful. Guest first mindset.
The staf was helpful and kind. Location very central, clean rooms. Good prix/quality The breakfast was reach
The view was opposition insight blending wal.
location, friendly staff
small room, small bed, poor choise of TV channels
I didnt like that kind of breakfast. It was very poor. I expected from that kind od hotel much better breakfast
Location was excellent. Could walk to most tourist attractions.Staff werev excellent and helpped when we had a need to handle some personal documentation from home [Australia]
Trying to find something positive about this hotel was a struggle. But to be fair the location is it's only asset
The Bar closes at 10.000 . The exec doube room was smaller than the standard double and way more expensive. Five of us stayed there for a week and we were all disappointed the breakfast was poor (big time). The walls must be paper thin we were awakened every morning by next door guests. The rooms are poorly cleaned. House keeping staff need a refresher course or a manager .Generally Disappointed all round would I stay there again? NO.
Comfortable large bed, nice staff. Location perfect in city centre.
The room even it was executive was really small. Breakfast made uncomfortable with buffet service although you can order cooked breakfast if you want, but it makes it feel like inconvenience. For me didn't feel like a 4 star and nothing special. Also cleanliness not exactly right, specially in bathroom.
Location Staff friendliness and knowledge Facilities Value for money
Tea & Coffee making facilities in the bedroom rooms would have been ideal
The hotel was in an ideal location.Helpful staff.
The shower drain was blocked. It overflowed from the shower tray. There was smell of drains in the room. When the next doors bathroom was being clean.Had an upset stomach from their breakfast. They kept the doors open on the warming cabinets.Doesn't keep bacon hot enough.
The location in very close to the Central Market but set back from the main drag allowing for quiet sleep. The breakfasts were pretty good. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. They brought us a fan, showed us alternative rooms due to a shower issue and always had a smile. They were alert around the clock (our hours were strange due to flights and time zone changes).
The shower in our room wasn't draining and there was no one to fix it. When we asked for a different room the two available only had bathtubs. The a/c had been turned off for the season because it was early October but it was very hot in our room. We asked for a fan and they brought one but we had to sleep with the windows open as well. Without screens, that resulted in a slightly buggy room with some street noise early in the morning. The room itself was very small. We travel in Europe frequently and can say that the room was smaller than most. The breakfast was good but crowded. Reconfiguring where the coffee is located would solve some of this (put coffee machine by the toaster).
We liked the location very much - so handy to the river and the main shopping street. We liked the breakfasts - lots of fresh bread and rolls, along with hot food. Reception staff were very friendly - and jumped to their feet when you approached them.
Not a big complaint, but there was one day that the room was not serviced just as well as other days - bed was made but that was all really. I would still recommend the hotel to others though.
The hotel is situated in a great location next to the market and restaurants and in walking distance of many historical sites.
I would have liked cooler air conditioning however we could open the window so it was not a major issue
Location excellent. Very good breakfast.
Room very small.
The shower had a leak but the staff couldn't move us because the hotel was full. After the second night they admitted all the rooms have this problem because of bad maintenance. Rooms extremely small.
Clean, service, staff.
Limited space and noisy rooms. Window in a litle and shadowed courtyard. High price for acommodation
