The excellent location is the greates value of the Residence in the historical Castle district of Buda built among the most beautiful hsitorical monuments of the country with super view to the city and the Danube. It is still in the center of the city, but far away from traffic and crowd. It is easy to reach it also by walking and parking is free and a privilage offred by the hotel. The "Bronz suite" is the smallest guest room of the Residence, still composed by a saloon, bedroom and bathroom, altogether about 40 sqm. The design of the building into a hotel had several restriction in the "historical" building where the facades, the architectural style and the main structure had to maintained, and therefore the reconstruction was made by respect to its original style and constructed by noble materials and good taste. The entire execution is not luxurious but very decent and the athmosphere of the residence is very pleasant. Small gadgets in the room, or a sofa for watching the television. |

Beautifully restoreed old building; very classy and inviting when you walk in the door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nicely restored and decorated - we faced the interior courtyard, and it was a quiet, pleasant location. The two disappointments were that instead of a large bed, we had two smaller beds pushed together, and so there was a large gap down the middle of the bed! |

Our room was beautiful and sumptuous with an incredibly comfortable bed. Nice amenities too! Hotel staff were always helpful. Location was perfect for exploring Buda side of the city. No computers per se, but staff assisted and let us use hotel computer. Rooms surround a courtyard and two children squealing and riding carts all afternoon and early next day did not favor a restful environment. A nice comfortable chair in the room to sit and read/relax would have been a plus. I thought there would be laundry facility then learned you have to rent it. |

Room was so big with high ceiling. It was confortable with many lightings. Foof quality at the restaurant was very good compare with other restaurants in this area. At first, credit card payment was refused. I was requested to pay with Euro. |

It's the second time we've stayed there in a short while. As we went to Croatia by car, we stopped in Budapest going and coming back. After the first experience in the hotel, we wanted to return. We booked a larger suite (silver) and when we got there they upgraded us to a gold suite free of charge. That's an upgrade from a 200 euro room to a 500 euro room. I give it an A+ on all counts. Excellent |

We liked everything. A true 5 star experience. Extremely clean rooms, spacios, designer body lotions and shampoo in the bathroom, location is right in the old city, next to a castle, free parking - which is something rare in Budapest, the staff were extremely accomodating and the restaurant was a palate's delight. Breakfast was included - a la carte ... The only thing I can think could be improved is... Maybe add bath robes. They were missing for some reason... |

The surrounding I would suggest that the owners use the interior court as part of the restaurant. To have breakfast there would be wonderful ! |

La habitación era genial nº 28 muy tranquila y espaciosa. La cena, buena comida a buen precio en el jardín. Las instalaciones y decoración son perfectas. Ubación ideal a pocos metros de la iglesia de Matias. Cenamos dos días en el hotel en el jardín, y es curioso que el personal de cocina estuviesen sentado fumando en el mismo jardín donde tu estás sentado para la cena ( escondidos tras tres macetas) es sólo un detalle. |

Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht versiert in der Beantwortung von "touristischen" Fragen, z.B. Restaurantvorschläge, Verbindungen ÖPNV, Abendprogramme wie Oper, Konzert, etc. Die Bemühungen waren kläglich in Anbetracht der Hotelkategorie. |

Notre séjour dans cet hôtel était tout simplement parfait. Autant au niveau de la chambre, que du personnel ou encore de la localisation de l'hôtel, celui-ci était vraiment exceptionnel. L'accueil était chaleureux, le personnel avec le sourire et la suite tout bonnement superbe. |

チェックイン時間よりもかなり早く雨の中到着したのだが、すぐホテルの方が迎えに出てくれ、すぐに部屋を使うことができた。ホテルの廊下や部屋の調度類はすばらしく、掃除も行き届いており、快適に滞在できた。ホテルのスタッフは始終にこやかで、ホスピタリティにあふれており、ウェルカムシャンパン、アフタヌーンティーのサービス、部屋に用意されたフルーツバスケットなど、サービスも申し分なしだった。 禁煙ルームをリクエストしていたが、喫煙ルームだった。 |
